It was fairly blatant, if it weren't I wouldn't have done it. A little sattire is sometimes the best way to deal with the BS.

Anywho, am I the only one that loves the new Splinter? It's such an awesome take and one that fits him. I wouldn't want midget martial arts master Splinter in a "main" TMNT show but it was time for that martial arts trope to make it to TMNT (though I guess it already did with the Ancient One). I was never a fan of tall-ass Splinter of 2012 or how it made him different because of it.

We got our first reveal of a brand new mutant. I hope the other characters they reveal are based on some of the earlier toys.
