Not speaking for him, but from everything I've ever read from Peter Laird, he couldn't care less about the Ninja Turtles right now. It's like John Carpenter and Halloween. Carpenter gets asked the same questions for what, 34 years? When he talks about Halloween, you can tell he's tired of it. Hell, he hasn't had anything really to do with it in something like 30 years, and he still gets questions about if he wants back in, what he would do, what's his favorite movie or director, etc.

I get that same feeling from Mr. Laird.

I can't really blame him...

even though one may make something that everybody just loves, but if no one seems to care about the 20 dozen other comics you make, and only asks you about just that one... it really hits a nerve

Exactly. John Carpenter has made SO many movies, and even though 'Assault on Precinct 13' gets attention, as well as 'The Thing', 'Halloween' is all everyone talks about.

It makes sense, but it's good to have a comparison.

to think nickelodeon would bring out a whacky just too much for children show back then when it was announced that they'd be taking over the guys makes me feel stupid now
