Sometimes change is good, seriously, why would you want him to be dumb again in a version of Turtles that's trying to be more serious?

I personally perfer serious charecters but not with rocksteady . He's a charecter thats created to be dumb and it's one of his most important attributes . And this show isn't super serious it's a blend of action and comedy and this charecter is one that should be comedic

I laughed a lot harder than I should have. What if Shredder tried asking a girl on a date.

It's sad that I found humor in the scene with Leo and Shredder. XD

Preferable imo. If the original names make an appearance at all maybe they'll be names that Mikey comes up with.

I was laughing too, just like how I laughed last episode after Karai asked Shredder if Splinter was really her father and instead of denying it or whatever, he had a "Yeah, and?" attitude. That cracked me up for some reason, just like the line you mentioned for this ep.

Even though I still don't care for Shredder in this incarnation so far, he does have some good moments and lines.

Also, I find it funny how Shredder has a higher priority for finding his damn helmet rather than Splinter AKA, the person who ruined his life!

I like this Shredder thus far, I just find him a bit too lazy, ESPECIALLY in the Manhattan Project. The Turtles were RIGHT THERE and he didn't attack them. But I love the subtle humor and attitude he has such as "You look terrible, Bradford." or when he was talking to the Kraang. "Do they ALWAYS talk like this?" Sassmaster Shredder coming to town.

Since apparently Japanese people who live in New York and speak English introduce themselves surname first Same with Splinter, Hamato is surname, Yoshi is first name.

There are a LOT of commenters on IGN's TMNT episode reviews complaining that IGN reviews the show. There is a stigma around the show that it's just for kids and has no depth and thus not worth reviewing.

Go show your support for IGN reviewing the show by commenting your thoughts.

Rather you like IGN or not, they are a popular site and it brings more eyes to the show when they are doing reviews.

Yeah, I loved Leo's and Shredder's dialogue after Leo brought him the helmet. It was just so hilarious how Shredder was like, "Well, duh, I'm going to attack you. You DO remember who I am, right?"

And now those mental images of Shredder trying to find a date are hilarious.

In some Asian cultures, including Japan it is polite to refer to someone by their last name instead of their first. Because using a persons given name suggests you have a familiarity with the person.

And also there are cultures where there is a superstitious belief demons or spirits would be able to control you if they learn your full name.

It's the Raphael switching bodies/brains with a Kraang. The way they do it, is that the voices switch. So Raphael's body with Kraang voice and vice versa.
