The Target over here has ALL of its TMNT toys on sale all of a sudden. I was wondering if that's going on anywhere else? I was at Wal-Mart on Monday and their stuff was regular price. Not sure if it's a Target thing, or a regional thing, or what.

The lair, in particular, is on sale for like $105, I think, from $130. Still not low enough for me to jump on, but they did sell one of the two they've had sitting there. Once it goes under $100 I might have to splurge. I keep thinking how nice it'll look with a repaint and all my older TMNT figures displayed on it. I have no room for it, but whatever, I have no room for anything.

Anyway, might wanna check Target, if you're looking for stuff. I'm curious if it's a thing all Targets are doing, or just this one.

My target has them on sale as well. Someone a couple pages ago mentioned that too.

Late to the party with the SDCC box sets of the Turtles. Better late than never though.

I actually forgot about these guys, until I was offered a set today.
Should have them on Monday, along with a set of 10 3cm static figures.

They look alright. And according to the back Albearto is going to join Draxum’s forces, right? Or is this just a repeat of the situation with the last line and it’s inability to comprehend some villains aren’t on a faction?

In truth, I think the SDCC set I got, is more likely from the new batch created for the fan club.
Still, they are actually a really nice set. Got to figure out how best to present them when I get home.
The lil figures are really well detailed for such tiny toys. Not sure if I’ll actuall display these, or just file them away for now.

The new collection continues to, rise !!

I think I like the toys better that the 2012s. These are all (so far) pretty interesting and reasonably well put together: and each had a lot of articulation.

I used the plastic outer trays.
After opening them, I slip the tray back over. Then I fed the open flap from the right hand box into the back out the outer tray of the left hand figure. Helps to balance the load.

The Turtles are standing inside a CO Doctor Who TARDIS playset.
And, yeah. $15 gets you all four of the SDCC Turtles.
Seems like an incredible deal .

So overall ... is it too early to gauge if this line has been successful at all? Every time I go to a store all the figures are collecting dust on shelves.

I think seeing how they perform over the holiday shopping season will be a fair gauge.

For the 2012 series, EVERY figure on the shelves would sell during the first few holiday seasons in my area.

I think it is a little to early in my opinion. Don’t all toys move well during Holidays? I’m not sure if that is a good measurement of the current lines success.

It’s probably doing decent I imagine. The line does have a corporate machine backing it. From what I have observed negatively is fading and the current TMNT is finding it’s audience. But that’s only my perspective.

I would like to see a numbers comparison with current and past TMNT waves.

Has anyone opened the 4-Pack bundle? Mine just arrived and I was expecting a set of carded basic figures but the box is way too small. I bought it from Target but I could only find this image from Walmart.
