*Mike traipsed to the Study, eager to get back to his....previous engagement. He stopped a the door, knocking gently with his good hand*

Mike: Master? Master....*opens the door an inch* Where is he? I'll have to either go find him, or get it myself...
*pauses as he hears Splinter talking to someone further down the hall*
Mike; Hey, he sounds like he's in Leo's room...wonder what''s going on...?
*He walks over to the door, pausing only slightly, before knocking gently*

(Leo had no idea what would qualify as an "acceptable" answer. so he shut his eyes and went for the truth...Just as he was about to speak, a knock at the door about stopped his heart.)

(interlude with mikey)

L: Kameko dissappeared for a week, and I saw the pain it caused you. I knew that bad things were happening here around the lair. I was worried about her as well. But I respected your opinion of her skills and her wishes and didn't go looking for her.

(he took a deep breath, and pushed away from the wall and out into the deep water)

L; She came home and she was safe and sound and mad at us. again. I was so angry I wanted to hear her apologise. to acknowledge that what she'd done was wrong. To you, to me, to anybody else who was even half as upset as I was... she refused. she got spiteful. I got angrier.

(Leo shut his eyes, but then opened them again. he would not hide, not even that much)

L: we fought. because our words got away from us. Kya tried to stop us. Several times. I tried to get her away before she got caught up in things. I guess I failed.

My actions were wrong. My judgement in error. but my arguement with Kameko is a reasonable one, I think.

(Leo stared into his father's eyes and waited for judgement)

Kya; thank you for taping my wrist. and the ice pack. (with a dry smile) and for the pain killers. I had kinda forgot about it... that first night I didn't want to take anything because I was a bit worried about a concussion... but it's been some time... I never did thank you guys for keeping me awake all night. It seemed kinda tasteless... I mean we were saving Kali from that witch-turtle. I wasn't gonna say, "gee thanks, that drama sure took my mind off MY problems" (she smiled at her own stupid joke) that wasn't funny at all was it?.... anyways, thanks for the pain killers, basically I'd forgotten I COULD take them when I woke up this morning...

I'm sorry. I'm rambling...
