I lost track of this conversation, someone mentioned ties and now all I can think of are ladies in ties.

I would like to register "Ladies in Ties" as something that also grinds my gears.

I think it speaks to what kind of character I am, that I found it easier to learn how to get dropped on my head without dying than to learn to play guitar.

And I find ladies in ties hooooooooooot.

Now you got me thinking of that scene in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts is lying in bed wearing nothing but a tie.

Heh, she has a lot of teeth.

People who prefer to sit there and keep yelling at a cat (or insert other pet - or child) rather than get up and do something.

Glasses, long hair, and strands that end up yanked out because they get caught in the hinges.

But one of many a follicle folly... I keep my head around a 2-3 most of the time (buzzed close to the dome) but even I have problems with having hairs ripped out, courtesy my big dumb sunglasses & occasionally my regular specs. But hey, try having a long beard. I get it caught in patio doors, chopsticks, all kinds of madness.

Tummy trouble is grinding my gears today. So too are some internet things.

I missed out on the MOTUCs Hover Robot 3 pack on Mattycollector.com

I really wanted those. It's very gear grinding that having a Motuc subscription still don't give you all of the figures that comes out. And a friend of mine got royally screwed over by Digital River and Matty by not getting figures and vehicles sent over. And since he was sending in too many complaints, he's been black listed.

He tried to get the same $100 vehicle twice, and both did not arrive.

Oooh, I wear ties sometimes - but not as a work thing, and I ain't no lady. My ties are awesome - I have leopardprint ties, cat ties, skull ties... and one has a unicorn on it.

Hey I got a whole butt-load of ties in my closet if anybody's interested. No cute mythological creatures on them or anything, sadly.

I used to have that outlook, until reality gave me a swift kick in the nuts.
