Where are the prequel comics?!?! - Page 2

they come out on wed. March 28th not today I was just at the comic shop and bought a bunch of old comics I needed before the movie hits just incase they try and raise the prices.

Well, I'll see if any of them are out tomorrow when I go to the comics shop. I was kind of waiting to get them all at once to read a couple days before the film. It'll really suck in NONE of them are out yet. BTW what week is Tales supposed to come out? Or is that gonna be late too?

The Tales book is already several weeks late.

I'm confused, Putrescent-- if books come out today (Weds.) and you went yesterday, why do you not think they are coming out this week?

Yeah, that's confusing me too. He says he was "just at the shop", but the time-notation of his post would mean-- either he had gone like hours beforehand, or this shop was open late at night (which they're usually not, from what I've known at least).

Well, see today anyhow. The shop I go to opens at 1PM, so I won't know til go to it around then.

Well, my comic book store is like a five minute walk from here, and I personally believe those books are coming out today because I think Jake would have been alerted and given us a heads up if they weren't.

We'll see. We should have placed bets and then the loser could have paid the winner via PayPal.

Can I get in on that action? The books will be out today. If your comic shop didn't order them, then they won't get them today, but they ARE hitting stores nationwide (and for our friends in the Great White North, too) today.

Back from my comic shop trip, and among my haul did get the 2 TMNT Movie Prequels!

It's looking like the next three (and possibly the Movie Adapt.) won't be out next week, but the following. A little up in the air at this point...but we DO have 1 and 2, so hopefully those can tide us over until the following week.

Well I got mine today! And I be in the UK, yar!

The Raph one is top notch, shows how he gets the suit and whatnot, and just a little bit violent... (not too bad though...) Plus, there's some very nice special guests at the very start, heck I don't wanna sequel to the new movie, I wanna prequel!! Or at least more comics set in the new movie world!!!

The Mikey one was pretty cool too, it was ace to see Mikey, Don and Casey interacting. The artwork though, i'm sorry to say, it just didn't gel with me. I just think it coulda benefited more with a different artist...

And yeah, I see what you mean CJJohn about 'em being a bit banged up, my Raph one's fine but the Mikey one has a big scratch down the center, and I think they were all like that. Anyhoo, going to another comic store tomorrow, this one I have a standing order with for a buncha books, including TMNT. So hopefully the Mikey one'll be in a bit better condition. (I buy two of each book if I get the chance, one to read, and the other to keep, as I hate getting marks, fingerprints, etc on em!!)

Plus i dont think the store here will have them unpacked til around 6:30 or 7.

And putrecent, couple things coulda happened when you went yest. 1, it was tuesday

2, the shipping list didnt get updated til yesterday anyway, so maybe the guy at your shop looked on monday and it wasnt there, and hadnt checked the update made yesterday.

I got mine today...they were not all beat up but in mint condition. The comic book guy only order 2 copies of each issue...one for me and one set for another guy that has a long-term subscription with TMNT comics.
