well if eastman's artobiography is any indication, it seems that they still hold a great deal of respect for each other. laird gives credit when credit is due and eastman has sold the rights over tmnt so technically he has no say in anything whatsoever. he could give creative advice, i guess.

of course whatever he published in the artobio could be smoke and water. we'll never really know.
