Here's my own TMNT/Ghostbuster association which is basically set to the cartoon versions of both teams -
Leonardo = Egon Donatello = Venkman Michaelangelo = Ray Raphael = Winston

Winston is sorta hot-headed, but then again so is Peter, so it was a tough choice in terms of personality to choose which one would be Peter and Winston. I had to make the decision that I did because to me Venkman just fit Mike more than Raph because he was the least insightful of the bunch, just as Mike was in TMNT. |

I always saw Ray as the silly type just like Mike, and Egon reminded me more of Leo with how anal retentive they both were.
