Is it alright to say that kinda liked both of them? Now when I was a kid I really didn't like Zach to much. I thought he was dumb addition and anoying. If their is anything I can't stand more its some snotty kid stealing the hero's thunder. But when I rewatched his episodes recently I find that I'm not as insulted by his presence as I was when I was little. I think his character was handled well. I thought his brother was a prick though and his so-called girlfriend sucked.

Howie I thought was freakin hiliarious. I and I actually thought his songs where eally funny. I liked the "Teenager with a shell" song, if for no other reason than for the classic reactions and facial expressions of WTF-ness (is this a word?) that they had. I found my sself back tracking on my dvd to rewatch their reactions over and over again because it cracked me up so much And I also love the "fight Fight" song Howie sung during the little pitch battle the turtles had with Shredder and R+B. That had me giggling too!

okay, I changed my mind. I just rewatched the two Howie eps and his songs are freakin' hilarious! I especially love the Fight song...just seeing a fight going on with that lame song in the background makes me crack up

I thought Howie complimented the show's cheesey tone rather well. But, if he showed up as much as Zach (a huge insult to kid-kind that he was), this might be a closer race.

I hate them both. I skip the Howie episodes, but I like The Missing Map and Shredderville, so I have to endure the annoying little $*&&##** for what feels like eternity. But it's worth it cos the episodes are so cool.

Zak. Don't get me wrong, they were all goofy, but Zak takes the cake. I found him the most annoying with his ridiculous Elvis haircut.

They did not age Zack. He was 13 years old when he met the Turtles, and still looked exactly the same a few years later. Granted, he could have an extremely late puberty. But if the seasons still had time flow like they do in the 2k3 toon, they could have aged him a little bit.

Omg I wish I could forget him too. He was annoying but what was worse was his "Heroes in a half shell" song. Ruined the opening theme for me.

I loved Howie's Heroes song... Never in a million years would I have imagined weasels in a cream-sauce otherwise. ^_^

I don't get why he wrote that lyric. The whole song was rambling incoherent crud.

Heroes in a half-shell are to weasels in a cream-sauce as Oysters on the half-shell are to... some other type of food involving cream-sauce. But, yeah. It was very random. I thought it was funny.

As someone who watched the series as an adult (I was an arcade game repairman at the time) I didn't necessarily find Zach annoying (though I disliked his brother; which was the idea anyway), probably because the program took care not to use him too often. I probably would have felt differently if he had appeared too often though.

Howie, on the other hand, was supposed to be comic relief, but he was too stupid to be funny.
