Maybe its charity money given to them for their heroic efforts. Before then, perhaps Hamato Yoshi had tons of money in his bank account, and was a super saver because he lived in the sewers. I don't really know though. Today, I watched "Splinter Vanishes." And when they go their separate ways, they all just get a different job. My guess is because they were making a living on their own, they relied on each other and their master for money.

Liscensing... All of that TMNT Merchandise and exstensive advertisement campaign must work... C'mon the guys can ride on a blimp with their trademarked Logo on it...

Yeah, maybe they sued a bunch of people for using their logo without copyright permission! Those are some sneaky turtles!

I also wanted to comment that in "Turtle Tracks," April does buy trenchcoats for the turtles before they enter the pizza place. But consider this, when Raphael holds the check after they eat the pizza, the episode doesn't show how they pay

Plenty of options: themselves, Humprey Bogart Quartet (in their trenchcoats), Donatello in his Dark Turtle Costume, Raphael as the Nightwatcher, Michaelangelo as Cowabunga Carl, and Leonardo as a Chef with a mustache (saw it in one of the toon screencaps)

My dad's a plant operator at the waste water treatment plant and he's told me he's amazed by the amount of cash that winds up at his point (which is the tail end) of the waste water treatment process. Imagine the Turtles, being in New York and in the beginning of the lost money or jewelry down a sink or toilet. The could probably get by on that.
