I don't know as I don't have that set, but I'm sure it's no differnt as the turtles look like the same exact ones from the playsets.

I havent seen loose pics of this yet but it looks like the same one that came with the Leo's dojo playset.

although I know that Playmates plans to release this repaint this year.

Be kinda cool if they did, as Universal is releasing it on DVD

Target in my neck of the woods (Acworth, GA) - also has some sort of parachute-ing TMNT mini-fig things- they don't look as articulated as the regular mini-figs...
I've seen them too. I forget what they're called, though. But they basically have the same figures they already released (looks like) with Parachutes and some sort of weird armor. I remember seeing Hun as one of the figures... I think the rest are different Foot Soldier/Foot Elite figures.

Anyone else notice the CW 4Kids logo on these figures?

Wait, it comes with the full Ubisoft game?!?! You mean THIS ONE?!?!? No, no, no. I refuse to believe that! It's gotta be Ninja Adventures, or maybe new levels using the Ninja Adventures engine. It had better freaking not be that game that I paid blood money for when it was flipping new.

Anyway, that Shredder mech is amazing and I think I must have it.

I'm sure it's just the demo from the early Movie line.

Possibly... but I have a hard time seeing them release that again unchanged. The "for the older TMNT fan" tagline also strikes me as... interesting. I mean, how hard would it be for them to put an emulated version of the original arcade game on the disc? Sure, it's a Konami game, but didn't the Xbox Live version have Ubisoft's logo splattered all over it? I look forward to finding one of these Shredder mechs to satisfy my curiosity.

Good Lord I'm off work finally and put this game in my pc to check it out, I'm not sure if it's a demo or not but I've played 2 levels so far one is jungle leo and the second is Nightwatcher.
So is there any way to tell if it's a demo or not?

Sorry I got a bit bored with it and the constant catch phrases.
I'm sure to play it again another time.

Yeah, Jester, I remember being upset by that promo too! I had the game long before the DVD hit stores. :/

Oh well, at least now I can have it on one disc instead of three.

I can't speak for the others, since I can't find Don on my shelves right this second, and I don't own Leo or Raph, but Mikey has a different skin tone.

Otherwise... lame!

At first, I couldn't figure this, but now I think I get it. Playmates is trying to touch each different set of TMNT (or at least the ones Pete will let them). I think their basing it off those banners we saw a while back with each Turtle in a different style (Can't seem to find the pic, but the styles were Mirage, Old Toon, 2k3, New Movie). It's a good idea, but it's lame to just get reissues.

EDIT: Btw, I remember the first time I saw the original Ninja Action Mikey. I just had to have it because the chucks were stringed and not the crappy breakable plastic. I still use them today on whichever Mikey I have on display.

I have a few videos of the flipping Leo figure(s) URL="http://www.scary-crayon.com/misc/leoflipoff/"]in this old article[/URL]! It's not all that easy to tell what's going on, but the stills reveal that they did, in fact, flip. The 2K3 TMNT were much improved in that respect, too.
