Stop with the act and calm your attitude down a bit. You're obviously posting flamebait. Don't make me hand out a warning.

Ok I had no Idea I was posting flamebait I was just wondering what this thread was about.....So that is considered flamebait nowadays? Wow....And I don't want a warning so I'm just gonna stop posting in this thread....

Exactly what happens when moderator sends out a warning? Do you get banned from the site or something?
(I'm sorry, I'm still new here)

Thanks for the info, Apple Cat!

But after they ban you, can't you just register a new account to start over? Or is there a comptuer log-on-tracking whatever technical term it is that will prevent you from doing so?

I'm assuming Krang bans your ip address so you can't get on again.

Again, thanks for the info, Duke!
Wow, I never did understand how the forum works until now.
Just one more question though, how does someone become a moderator again? And are the moderators the only people who can "lock" a thread and give warnings?

So, it's 2 questions, but who's counting

Yes, it's possible to register again after being banned, but if the person continues to cause problems after that, they will be IP banned like Duke said.

There's a thread in the Suggestions board where people can ask to be a moderator, but right now we aren't accepting any more requests because we already have a long list of possible mods.

Yes, only admins and mods can lock/move threads, edit other people's posts, and give warnings. And only admins can ban and IP ban, but bans don't happen very often (only 3 people have ever been banned here).

Heh, and for those wondering what the point of this thread was on the old Under Manhattan boards...

There was no point.

It was several pages of randomness that I believe began with Ninjatron declaring himself top poster. After that, it just got weird.

Yes, UnderManhattan was a huge TMNT fan site, one of the best. But due to RL, the webmasters have been unable to update it. So, since they didn't want a neglected site (though it was hardly neglected by those who visited) they simply took it down. Very unfortunate, since many people had things hosted there, and they weren't warned or anything.
