Welp.. I wasn't attarcted to TMNT by cartoon. It was the first movie. Reading the news articles on that lead me to the comic books.

But, I liked the balance the movie portrayed. Mirage roots, but the cartoon influences. It's not all serious like the comics, but I'm not complaining if they go that route too.

I was introduced to the TMNT by Archie, then I bought the First VHS tapes. Soon after the show started to air on TV. I read an article about Mirage, and the Founders Eastman and Laird, and always wanted to read some of the original comics, but they never came to Finland. It was untill last summer when I got my credit card and could finally get them.

But that I think of it, as a kid probaby wouldn't have liked Mirage... The story in it could be boring to small kids...

The kids just want to see the TMNT battle the evil villian of the day/week/month.

I'm with you Fraggle. Sure I'll swear if I'm upset about something, but I try to keep my mouth clean. Hey, even Peter Laird doesn't like swearing.

Hey I'm, glad - I think Dreamwave has more respect for the TMNT anyway. Multicolored headbands, I can forgive. April as a reporter? Not a chance!

Also, I think Joe Quesada has that job now.
