Raphael - The Green Ranger - Page 2

TurtlePower1001 · 06-02-2011, 01:29 PM

i remember thinking of this way back in the day when the turtles fought the power rangers in the two part episode during the next mutations times, however if i remember correctly it actually took place on the power rangers show, awesome concept and greatly executed

This looks great, both turtles and rangers were a major part of my youth and this combo is amazing

I take it you've seen the movie Junior Defenders then? I bought it only because it had Jason David Frank (and Brain O'Halloran of Clerks) in an obvious parody of the Power Rangers. His character's name? Tommy.

You have managed to take two of my favorite childhood franchises and put them together! Bravo!

Stingray69 · 10-26-2011, 01:42 PM

That's freaking awsome haha green ranger was always my fav

On a side not have you guys seen the dude who played the green ranger latley? He does mma and is ripped.

mondo_geckers · 11-27-2011, 06:08 AM

the green ranger was always a badarse.

Looks fantastic!

rocklord74 · 01-29-2012, 10:18 AM

Wow! First time in my life I was speechless. Just awesome job, two of my favorite lines together at last. Thanks for sharing this great custom with us.

*Plasticplayhouse* · 01-30-2012, 06:40 AM

i cant stand power rangers, BUT this is a great looking custom. the combo flows very well together.

I feel that an April the Yellow Ranger would also work well. That five-parter about how Tommy was about to turn evil was definitely one the best arcs in the whole show. How about Foot Soldier Putties, even?

Uki · 02-10-2012, 09:00 PM

I've never been a Power Ranger fan, but that's a cute idea done well here.

Zartan666 · 03-08-2012, 01:34 PM

This is awesome! Did you ever think of making the Power Shield to look like his shell? I think that would make it really pop!

Dark_Warrior · 04-13-2012, 07:53 PM

go, go, turtle ranger

Koschei · 05-23-2012, 10:14 PM

That is bad ass!

No. I tried to keep artistic license to a minimum. My goal was to literally make Raphael as if he were the green ranger. So I tried to make his costume as authentic as I could given my level of expertise and materials.

Xaryen · 06-03-2012, 10:23 AM

Haha that's great. A little odd, but great. You gonna turn all the turtles into rangers? Make April the pink one? :p

Jasper-X · 07-02-2012, 09:03 AM

very neat concept

TMNT-Collector · 07-28-2012, 12:13 PM
