"Heavy Metal" can be considered a 1970s flick. Decades really don't take shape until their second year. It's only felt like a new decade for a year now 2001 still felt like the '90s.

Yeah, it should be common knowlege that movies are shoot MUCH earlier than they come to box office. Editing and specials effects require a lot of work.

Well, most cases anyway. They're already advertising Scary Movie 3 and I don't even think they have a full cast yet. I think that movie will wrap shooting the same week it gets to theatres.

Actually, they're already putting word out for Scary Movie **4** and 3 isnt even out yet.

Apparently 3 will be spoofing stuff like Lord of the Rings, and 4 will be spoofing super-hero movies.
