Why do people not make a big deal out of Casey meeting the Turtles before April? - Page 2

In all incarnations April is the Turtles first human friend. However in IDW Raph meets Casey first, and then at the end of issue #4 Casey sees the three other Turtles. Meanwhile they don't meet April until issue #8-9.

Does anyone else think this gets overlooked?
