Could be... or that turtlemech(?) from the 4kids show. Or it could be Tokka. On his own for once. Either way if its a shout out to previous incarnations... we only have a few to guess from.

Well given the confirmation it obvious IS Slash, but I was just saying you could imagine Metalhead there.

I do wonder why they're bringing in Slash so early. The Turtles have only been mutated for a little over a year, and they only JUST reunited with Raphael. After this short time there's already a 5th mutant Turtle?

I think they should have just introduced Leatherhead first if they wanted another mutant reptile around. Him bonding with the Turtles would be similar to Mirage and 4kids Leatherhead too.

Loving it. This is the kind of cover that should get new readers to pick it up and look. It's a striking cover.

Interested in seeing how the Kuhn's interiors turned out!

Like Alopex started out as sort of an expy of Ninjara, this is actually going to be a totally new character that is somewhat like Slash... named Slice.

*Donnie* · 08-19-2012, 09:22 PM

Simply AMAZING work as usual, Ross!

**Jester** · 08-19-2012, 09:29 PM

I just noticed that Tokkash seems to be munching on Donnie's bo. Maybe it IS Tokka

It does seem like Slash is very big. Look at how small the turtles look compared to him.

*Eiko* · 08-19-2012, 10:01 PM

Wow very nice can't wait to see who that is on the cover.

*ToTheNines* · 08-20-2012, 07:03 AM

I find it interesting that the RI cover is going to reflect actual content. That's a first for this book, isn't it?

*CyberCubed* · 08-21-2012, 03:05 PM

I bet Ross Campbell's Slash on the cover will look a hell of a lot better than Andy's in the interior. It may actually be quite a let down to look at two artists takes on him and see the inferior one in the story.
