It's hardly opinion since more then 75% of fans and peter laird hate this character. But how about you why do you like venus so much, what is there NOT to hate about her, what is there to defend about her?

I haven't gone all the way back through the entire franchise, but I have a soft spot for Quarry, since she's one of the few "monstrous" female characters in sci-fi, and that's pretty cool.

For a character with more substance, I'd vote for Ninjara, and I'm surprised to see she's not on the poll. Her backstory could have used some development, and her exit from the series felt contrived, but it was good to have a new character on the Archie team to make it distinct, and a fox dating a turtle is so freaking weird.

right there with you. April was hot but she was a main character. Mona Lisa was a one shot and a dang memorable one too.

I vote April, but really I think Lotus Blossum from the OT was pretty cool and I wish she could have had more appearances.

Sorry...I'm just now reading the Archie run for the first time through IDW's reprints, so she was the first female character, after April, that jumped into my brain...

April from the original series. She was my first crush as a kid lol. Plus she was always getting into the action doing what she could to help the turtles so it made her not just a damsel in distress, something I never seen before as a kid until that point.

Also Kala from the Neutrinos. I like that she's a kind person and has a big heart.

I put the vote in on Alopex since she caught my interest in the Secret History of the Foot Clan story.
Otherwise it be April.

Karai seems cool but I havn't been exposed to her on a level where I care anything about the character. The others are forgettable (Mona Lisa I only remembered after seeing her toy). And to me, Venus doesn't exist hehe

I finally just said screw it and voted for Mona Lisa. There are versions of April and Karai that I like but not all of them, and I'd rather give my vote to someone I like in their entirety. Mona Lisa was the easy choice as she was kind of fun and limited to only one episode so what ya see is what ya get.

I chose April O'Neill...amazing in both cartoon and 1990 ninja turtles movie. I like the episode when she winks at the turtles and it is reserved for splinter (return of the shredder)
