I used to own a pet turtle. Actually two. I put one of them back in the lake where I found him and the other got lost after the bowl that was outside over flowed during a rainstorm and was never seen again. I miss that little guy...

Such a sad story. I actually owned 4 turtles when I was young. I can't remember it but I probable thought they were the Ninja Turtles.

That's cool. I've been thinking about getting some new turtles as pets...since my dad doesn't want to get a dog. Oh well.

*wonders how one is able to keep SEA turtles* Don't you need an ocean for those?

Hrmm.. lessee, what odd things ahve I done in the name of Turtledom:

- when I was 13, I dressed up as Mike for Halloween, to hand out candy. Yes, it looked really stupid since it was bascially a flat cardboard box shell over green street clothes. No, I did not go out in public!

- When I was 17, I was really into Breyer model horses. They also have little conventions and stuff for this hobby too. So in one of the model horse shows I went too, there was an "Anything Goes" class. So I stick my TMNT figures on model horses and try to stage something out of TMNT 3. To bad I didn't have a camera that could do close up shots back then, but it didn't win the class anyway.

- I became addicted to the TMNT after seeing all the online goodness dedicated to them. Or was it that they made me addicted to the internet...?

- I went into credit card debt after flying all the way out to San Diego, just to see Kevin Eastman and have him sign some of my comics in person at the International Comic Con!

Hrm... what else?

- I play the COOTS tape, full blast, with windows rolled down, while crusing through slow rush hour traffic. ...or was that Ninja Rap?

Freaks. j/k

When I was 7 or 8 I won some goldfish at some fair they had for Earth Day (back when, y'know, anyone still gave a rat's ass about Earth Day), I think I had to toss ping pong balls into goldfish bowls and I got to keep the fish in whatever bowl the balls landed in. I ended up with three fish, and we also bought a little plastic fishbowl that had another fish in it, so that's four altogether. Care to guess what their names were?

They all died in less than four days and I buried them in the backyard. Guess their ninja training wasn't advanced enough to teach them how to survive for more than a week without croaking.

the only thing I ever did was one night I drew a bunch of ninja turtles pictures and at my old (christion) school I took them all and taped them to the wall of the hall ways and classess..........I had enough time because my mom was janitor at the time I think I was in the 3rd grade?

You needed a little rat as well. Then they would be trained well.

Like Moomintroll, I also went looking in the sewers for the TMNT, cept we didn't leave notes in there... we left about 5 frozen pizza's though.

Um... I also harassed the Target, Shopko, Walmart, Kbtoys, Toys r us, and Kmart employees before the new figs came out, and got all seven in 2 days time.

Dressed up as Donnie in this halloween parade we had in kindergarden, and baped my teacher with the bo when she tried to fix my knee pads .

Convinced my Sci-Fi lit class to watch TMNT 2 over 3, because 1 wasn't an option. 'Sides, whats more Sci-Fi than 4 giant walking talking turtles who were taught ninja by a mutated japanese rat? NOTHING, thats what .

Hell nah, dude, Kevin Smith rules. I think "Clerks" was my favorite overall, but "Mallrats" is either tied or right behind it.

I'd say the silliest thing I did TMNT related was create my own TMNT toys made out of computer paper in the early '90s. Back then, I was bad at drawing them to scale so I'd have a really fat looking Michaelangelo and a scrawny Raphael. Eventually, I switched to notebook paper and learned to trace them so they looked better.
