News about new turtle in new series - Page 2

I have mixed feelings about TNM, actually. On paper, it sounded good. But actually watching it, in full Sabanized glory.. *shudder*

It irritated me how they portrayed Venus like some dumb Asian chic, made Mikey act like he was gay (and WHY was he and Leo sleeping on the couch with their legs intertwined *gives Kali a wink*), and the bandanas and that coat thing Splinter wore... ugh! What is up what covering there faces like that. Majore huge reason why I liked TNM Raph.. he was sooooo normal compared to the rest of em!

Oh.. and here's a little insider fact I heard, the person inside Splinter was actually a woman (who smoked)!

LOL! OMG, I never noticed that before! Well, I did notice that they were sleeping that way, I just never consciously connected it. Maybe subconsciously.

There were a lot of things I didn't like about the show. Like the sound effects and the catch phrases and some of the characterizations. All in all, though, I enjoyed it. But I think it had a LOT of potential to be better if only it had been made by a different company, and not Saban.

disgusting!!! the image!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!. no wonder the show was never successful. i've only watched one episode. funny. there's stuff in the show that's related to batman and the other super hero cartoons.

GRRRR...I wish I could say whether or not I like TNM, but the video I ordered is taking FOREVER to get here. Damn media mail. Half.com has great prices, but sometimes the sellers aren't very on the ball.

*snorts* Trust me, you aren't missing much. If you ordered the video version of East meets West, you're missing a lot and even then it's boring.

i liked the new look of the Ninja Turtles and I definitley liked the transportation. Yes, Saban rooned (ruined) the Ninja Turtles, but they did give them somewhat of a good look. The Turtle Hummer and Raphael riding out in a motorbike. This definitely gave an idea that the Ninja Turtles were a bit more grown than they were before (although they didn't act like it).

By the way... i did see the Ninja Turtles (of the next mutation) in a Power Rangers episode. I loved the original Power Rangers until they came up with all these new ones and all these replacement characters.

i hated that!!! But i liked how the Ninja Turtles were the bad guys in that Power Rangers episode. They took over the Power Ranger ship and caused the AI in the ship to go at their commands!!! YEAH!!! HEEL TURTLES!!! Gotta love em.
