I'm all for "best of" sets. With the original He-Man cartoon, you're far better off just picking up the best of He-man and the best of She-Ra sets than buying all of the episodes. With the original TMNT cartoon, I chose to pick up all of the episodes on dvd. However, a more causal TMNT fan (Cybercubed's favorites) might just want to purchase a best of set.

That Best of He-Man release was actually pretty well done, featuring interviews with Filmation creators who worked on the highlighted episodes. If Lionsgate were to give a similar presentation to selected TMNT episodes, I could probably be persuaded into picking it up for a good price.

I'd like themed sets from Lionsgate. Like a DVD of all the Raph-centered episodes. Or all the rat king episodes. Or all the Baxter episodes

Character themed DVD sets seem a good idea

And after all this time the Turtle Tips are not included. I would buy this DVD just for that.

Oy, I bet you'd probably watch them about once a year too.

Actually, for whatever it's worth, I make sure to cut up the plastic pop can rings thing every time. And it's all because Leonardo said to.

Well yeah. Turtles and the Hare only got 13 votes.

I wish Lionsgate would let me handle their DVD releases. I'd give the fans exactly what they want.

Just rerelease the F**KING TURTLE VAN! You don't need to change ANYTHING ABOUT IT. rerelease it for $100 and I will buy it.
Why they haven't rereleased the van is beyond me.

What? Why? Do you just really want the van or something? If you want the whole series on dvd, all of the seasons are still available.

Yeah I saw the list and I got a little confused. I'm glad that my favourite stories Planet of the Turtleoids and The Big Blow Out are included as they are classics but I wasn't aware that Superhero for the Day and Turtles at the Earth's Core were such well regarded episodes. Shows how much I know.

I think Turtles At The Earths Core is fondly remembered for having been a staple at Blockbuster stores. It was one of the more heavily pushed TMNT VHS tapes if memory serves.

All kids love dinosaurs. I loved that episode as a kid and think it still holds up today.

Superhero for a day was blah though. One of the weaker episodes only mildly interesting because of how retarded Gadgetman was.

It was, good luck renting it. Everytime my family tried it was gone eventually my sis would just record everything TMNT until the VHS Shredded and Splintered was bought by my dad.
