Couch made of pizza boxes? Really? What's next a talking turtle?

Now that I got a good look... Irrational future choices or not, that was cute. Love their bedroom most.


Well... defense of their cardboard furniture, most of that looks cut open and laid flat. Assuming they have access to glue, the coffee table looks like the only iffy piece to me of they're simply empty.

If you look closely it's not boxes stacked up on top of one another. They took the tops and bottoms (I would assume) of SEVERAL pizza boxes and stacked those together. As in you would not have the empty space between the lid and the bottom. Anyone who makes a couch like that doesn't have very much sense...look at the difference between the couch and the coffee table.



EDIT: ALSO it looks like they used the frame of a battered couch and just replaced everything with pizza boxes

i will admit we (me and my dorm mates) did it more than once it is a fun idea as long as you realize it wont work in the long run

i wont go into details but non solid furniture and college/teens dont mix well just like their beverages



oh and never use cement in the boxes..thats just a bad idea

but i do like the lair its one of the most true to the turtles things ive seen out of this movie so far

If you look Closely It not just empty boxes stacked on top on each other it the boxes unfolded and stacked like paper closely together which would actually make them quite heavy and strong

Are those mainly the only ads showing on Nick or are they showing one of the regular trailers as well? The sewer scavenger hunt one is the only one I've come across (and just once) on Nick so far. Now I see where they got that from given the online thingy we were all looking at.

Yeah, I have to admit I kinda hoped for an exclusive pic or a wallpaper or something.

Overall the lair's not bad - I love the colors especially. I think the wall full of boom boxes is kind of overkill, and I'm wondering how their beds could possibly be comfortable (or the skateboard chair or their pizzabox lounge, tbh) - that being said, I like the clutter and homeyness of it. It does look like a place where teenage boys would live - and let's be fair, a teenager would probably think that a wall full of boom boxes was a cool idea.

Splinter should've nipped that one in the bud though; bet his poor little eardrums get blasted with loud music at the most inappropriate times!

Btw... writing hit singles? Does this mean we're going to get another musical?
