Tara Strong could probably do it.

I'm okay when a women does a little boy's voice...but not for a teen.

(unless it's anime...)
If it's anime, a woman could credibly voice any of the characters!

No. I prefer having male voice actors play him. He might be the youngest, but I think he'd be old enough for his voice to be in the beginning stages of breaking.

I really can't see Tara Strong pulling off the voice of a 15-year-old male. He'd sound like a seven-year-old.

This is what I was thinking, but most incarnations of the Turtles give them an early/mid twenties attitude, so in reality maybe not.

Now if they actually went with early/mid teenage Turtles, maybe Tara would have a chance.

Tara Strong plays Terrence.
(That would be the teenager in the red jammies)

It doesn't seem necessary, but it would be fine by me. Women playing men is a theatrical tradition.

In Shakespearean Britain, however, there were no actresses. Women were played by men or young boys.

You're right, but ProactiveMan just said it was a theatrical tradition, not specific to the Shakespearean era. And it was a tradition.

To be honest, I don't care. As long as Mikey still sounds like Mikey, I'm fine with it.

They should get Tara Strong for his voice, should they ever go that route.

A bit much, but yeah, I'm not sure why he needs to be voiced by a female myself. The guys that have voiced him in all versions worked just fine.

As long as Mikey still sounds like Mikey should and not like a woman.

I'm just super worried about Seth Green voicing Leonardo, he has a whiney voice
