TMNT themed Nascar race coming - Page 2

*turtlefanforever* · 09-15-2016, 04:19 PM

Years of doing it metaphorically on tv wasn't enough. Nick TMNT needing to find a way to literally make the Nick turtles crash and burn.

*Ninjinister* · 09-15-2016, 04:32 PM

The TMNT 400's actually been going since before the Nick buyout.

You don't need to barge into every thread on the series to make some negative quip. We get it, you hate it. It's reaching you-know-who levels of repetition.

Just saw on snapchat that Cipes will be there. I'm assuming more cast and crew, too.

*TigerClaw* · 09-15-2016, 06:07 PM

What if Greg Cipes ends up being the guy that yells the "Drivers! Star Your Engines!"

*Vicky82* · 09-16-2016, 05:01 PM

I like those car designs.

I don't know anything about Nascar Race probably because it's a US sport and I've never seen air on TV here in the UK.

The only motor sport I follow is F1.

Haha, those are great! The 4 turtles in costume are actually posing with the "Sprint Cup" Season-Championship trophy, but the race-trophy is hilarious. I expect that will probably be the closest that Danica gets to it though.

The Nick costumes are so amazing to see in person. Way better than most of the public appearance costumes used to promote the Fred Wolf and 4Kids shows!

Damn, I found the channel that it's airing on the UK but sadly it's a channel you have to pay extra for, so I can't watch it

NBC Sports (formerly "Versus," formerly "The Outdoor Life Network") is still a fairly obscure channel for U.S. cable. NBC moves most of their big NASCAR Cup Series races there in order to entice cable subscribers and companies to start paying premiums to include it in packages that usually include ESPN and FoxSports1. They do the same thing to the National Hockey League playoffs.

Brian Tee who played Shredder in Out Of The Shadows is the Pace Car Driver, and its the Shredder car.

I listened to the XM radio interview with Tee this afternoon. He seemed very excited to be there.

And he literally begged the audience to buy the OotS dvd.

Here's a pic of Donnie by his car, even the helmets are TMNT themed.

You can watch the race right here, you'll need to sign into your cable tv provider however.
