Do I have to use winRAR to open it? Because I don't really feel like downloading another program just for one game......

That could be fun but I've got enough projects on my hands at the moment and plenty of studying to do to pass those college test (and I'm not even talking mid-terms here). Thanks for the offer though. Actually you know just send me the files. I'm sure I'll make use of them someday.

Hi.. could you send me the sprite sheets? I've been interested in attempting to make a game, or even an animation.

You should upload it to a place other than Angelfire..

The download won't work.

I myself use to work with The Games Factory, but have made LOADS of TMNT Engines in the past. But now i work with Multimedia Fusion.

I'll download this and see what the standards are.

No, i have to say, this is really really bad.

Runs terribly slow, and the jumping is also bad, i know how tricky it is to do jumping with 8 directional movement, but this really is bad.

Did you rip the sprites yourself? I'm not sure if those are actully my sprites or not, im actully known on the internet for my TMNT Libs.

This VERY VERY old site of mine has TMNT libs for download that I made or a bunch of friends, remember if you use them to give me credit in your games.

I just opened up the runtime, and saw your programming, it really is bad, but if your new to game making then i guess its acceptable.

First off, i noticed many things, you know when you paste somthing and all the black is missing?

well, paste it, then clear it, fill the space with black, and then re-paste it.

also, i notice you have a level for Raph and One for Leo, why not have the same one?

on the player select screen, have a score counter, when Leo is clicked set score to 1, then on the level destroy raph and leo at the start, and if score is equal to 1, create leo at the start of the frame.

do the same with raph.

Oh yeah, a final post, if you want an example of one of my games, (Keep in mind that its pretty old) then download it, its made with multimedia Fusion, which is like the big brother of The Games Factory

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sod.whi...utcherV1.1.exe

Here are 5 images of it. ALL HAND MADE, Nothing is Ripped.

I just found the problem, all your backgrounds seem to be active objects, too many active objects causes the game to run terribly slow.

Make the backgrounds Backdrops, and not active objects, the game will be much improved.

I hope my advice has helped you.

yes - you seem to be professional. I only made one lib too.
And sorry for late replies - i was sleeping, im in USA.

The engine thing - I just used it up for starters, i want to finish ripping sprites first.

Anyway, I think it would be cool if we founded a TMNTFGHQ (TMNT Fan games head quarters)

EDIT: And yes, i ripped the sprites. It took me like 3 hours since i dont have ms paint or psp.

EDIT2: And yes i know, i can take critisicm, but please give me some time. It will be better in the future.

OMG the internet here sucks ahh... power is losing...

OMG ur site RAWKS! I think i might still rip my own though.
You dont, by any chance, work with SONIC do you? Ive heard of one of the names...

Yes must I else say i've been trying to remix some levles.. i might take out all the mp3 and use crap music.

Ive already done that, in the past.

It was based off MFGG & SFGHQ (I know the owners of each)

I once ran a site by the same name hosted by emulation zone, but i got bored with it and decided to take it down, one day I will proebly put it back up, but the name TMNTFGHQ is actully Copyrighted by JSR/J-SOFT (which are companys of mine)

put it up again... or die.
j/k

Sonic Project hates me...
Ask zonik spike about my sprite comics... lol... he wants to rip my balls off

are you j-specialsoft? the one with one sonic lib?
Yes i downloaded it.
My sonic game sucks balls i trashed it.

and you do know if you started it again (since fangaming is more popular nowadays) it would end up being luckier than in the past.

I could help a little bit too if you put it up... just post about it on all forums, especially here. it would do better this time.

No, i was J-SOFT known as (jsofts) my site was actully EXTREMLY popular and I made so much money from it.
But it only got closed down due to hackers.

And actully, fan gaming has droped alot lately, it was popular mainly in 2000-2001, after that it droped, mainly due to flame wars from rival communitys, thats why many get shut down or hacked.
