I think you'll find that AlZarkovski's reprints of the series will be noticeably better than anything IDW has done with the TPBs.

Thank you!

But this is not only my reprints. Now I work together with Arseny Dubakov in "Illusion Studios". We publish Archie in Russia. Each book has 3 versions - TPB, hard (with a new exclusive cover by Chris Allan) and a “retro cover” for festivals.

Spoiler:

Also, we restore the original pages and fix the errors of painting.

Good stuff AlZarkovski. Too bad our stuff looks sloppy and mediocre over here. Not sure I'd double dip anyway if we got something better so I guess I shouldn't complain.

See, why couldn't we get all this quality in the English language versions?

That new Chris Allan artwork is amazing! And I don’t see any reason why we couldn’t get new artwork of his for the covers we got here,

LUIS · 10-07-2018, 10:50 PM

Do you guys think they are going to mention The Forever War? I want to be belive.

Nortock Diab · 10-08-2018, 01:38 AM

Oh man I'd love that!

New cover up on amazon. Not sure why on this Raph-centric story Mikey is so prominent on the cover.

It's just a poor artistic piece on all counts.

AlZarkovski, that new Chris Allan cover is fantastic! Does it wrap around? Could you post any other new covers Allan has done or provide a link? Thanks.

LUIS · 12-05-2018, 10:33 PM

It comes out the next week, right? I hope they mention something about TFW.

Now thats how you do a cover! WOW

*Sabacooza* · 12-20-2018, 07:22 AM

Yeah, these are way better.

These Archie books are still an incredibly desirable series. With the various monthly printings, "Kay-B-Toys" editions, low-print run issues, and mini-series, an all Archie TMNT collection would make for a heck of a long box.

But still, I'd be really happy with a three-volume Omnibus - two for the entire Adventures series and one collecting basically all of the mini-series.

Also, a cbz format release somewhere would be great so for quick digital access on your tablet, but it seems that no one has done this with the series, which is a shame.
