It is my understanding that the 2 episode anime takes place after the events of the manga, which were summerized before the intro sequence of the first episode.

Sayonara.

Well what I do know is that SavantiRomero has some of the TMNT mangas. Or at least I think he has.

Yes, Savanti does because I sold them to him. There were actually like 18 or so manga released in Japan. There was sort of an on-going series that was 14 or 15 issues long that adapted episodes of the regular Murakami, Wolf, Swenson series that we all know. Each issue was about 100 pages and adapted 2 episodes. The series was called "Nin-jya Tatorusu". There was also an adaptation of the third movie called "Myutanto Tatorusu III". Finally, there was a THREE ISSUE adaptation of the THREE EPISODE Japan-only anime mini-series called "Supa Tatorusu". The only way I was able to get any of these was by having my brother pick them up at a nationwide chain called "Book-Off" when he was in Japan. I didn't think they were that good. The good-looking art that is posted on ninjaturtles.com is NOT representative of the art in most of these books. I sold them to Savanti the super-collector a bit over a year ago.

I like Manga and Anime. It's a REAL ART. But I can't imagine our sweet turtles become Sailor Moon and Sakura

GUUUUYS! BUT HAVE YOU EVER SEEN TMNT IN JAPANESE? I DREAM TO FIND A JAPANESE VERSION. SHREDDER'S NAME IS SAWAKI OROKU.
WHICH VERSION IS BETTER I WONDER?
I ADORE TMNT...

here's a version which will work on all regions. This is where I got mine. Quality is good, but I think it may be a "Hong Kong" edition if you get my meaning. It's in Nihon-go but has English subtitles.

I hear that the subtitles of these bootlegs are notoriously bad.

Anyway, from the clips I saw at ninjaturtles.com, I can't make a real judgement about them. They look a little weird, and they seem to be totally based off the G1 series. And if Krang's in it, I'm really interrested...

I can't speak a lick of Japanese, so the only thing I caught was the Turtles shouting "Turtle-u Powa!!!"
