Just because we all figured it out before launch doesn't mean it's bad. They sort've marketed it as "WHO IS NIGHTWATCHER?" which pretty much cemented it wasn't going to be Raphael. The reveal was also in the first issue, so it's not like they drug it along forever. It was still a good intro to this version of Nightwatcher and the art was sick.

I thought it was ok. I'm not against Jennika having a book. I think the Nightwatcher bit makes sense in this context as well, but what I don't know is the direction of the book beyond that. It's a bit too much weight put on the first issue of this to have a 'reval' of Jennika. I'd rather get more why I care about this story especially when IDW is putting out too many TMNT books a month at this point. I was really happy with the main series, a b book, and a VERY OPTIOTIONAL crossover book. Now there's what 5-6 books a month mostly depending if Lat Ronin gets another issue out that month?
