Actually it doesn't go into the SPECIFICS on why WB & The Turtle team didn't work out the show. Obviously WB was interested, or they enver would have gotten that far.

My point was, WB clearly had ideas of their own, which could have turned Laird off to the whole thing.

Otherwise, he was clearly selling his cartoon off again much like before, which supposedly he is just so against.

I'd love to know the specifics of the proposed WB show and why it didn't go down, but we'd have to talk to someone from Mirage to find out for sure. Anything else is just speculation and is likely false.

The old rags on Shredder and Foot are not a good touch.

They say WB "passed on the TMNT" so it implies they didn't want to do it. But of course it's possible that they wanted to do another kids comedy show, and Laird said no.

It's good that Laird made sure that the cartoon won't end up being the same action as the Old TMNT or a TV show with low ratings like NTNM. I know a corny version of TMNT wouldn't get a chance.

I'm not saying it was bad, I'm just saying that it's good that the WB idea didn't went into production and then it would iend up being a flop.

I may not be able to see the old TMNt cartoons but I have nothing against the classic.

Re: The WB Turtles Show...

I didn't like these designs very much either. But I can assume the direction they were going to go in based on the designs, and it would have been much different than what we have now.

For the record, only two Graboid stages were shown in the second movie: Graboids, and Shriekers, which I assume you're talking about, since they do resemble them. The 3rd stage didn't show up until the third movie. *waits impatiently for the fourth movie*

Those movies are horrible. So is the TV show.

I liked the design of the Foot, I don't know why. Seems like they'd make a better figure than the new Foot...feet.......f....ggrrrr....

Dude, They are almost the same as the foot tech

If these had been the foot soldier/ninja in the new show, then i'd 'ave been crying at the moment. Actually, i think there's something on the way right now

WB was probly going to make it just like the old toon. Imaging the WB turtles in are new toon. Kind of funny if you ask me.

Ehh, not really. There are some similarities (the boots, the eyes, the 'button' on the chest) but overall I'd say the WB Foot are a strange blend of Alien Robot and Homeless Ninja. The Foot Tech Ninja look sleek and cool. So there's a difference.

I kinda like some of the designs. I like the Variation of Shredder wearing the red and gold, personally. I also like Splinter and the TMNT. Casey and April on the other hand need ALOT of work.

I'm curious to know exactly what the show would have been like, but I'm glad to have the current series over it already

" I GOT A GOD DAMN PLAN!"

I like the Tremors Movies, and I did realize my mistake after posting it.

Tremors 1 is really pretty good.

Anywho.
