Off topic, but I've had a couple beers so here we are-
I re-read the Last Ronin this weekend, aswell as the flashback portions of Lost Years and Training Day. I think if those were one graphic novel that jumped back and forth in time and all came out at once, the only thing the story would need is some more development for hiroto.

I don’t know about merging them, but yes The Lost Years does a LOT of heavy lifting for TLR and retroactively made it a much more meaningful and worthwhile story. For me, at least.
