Well, whatever happens I want it. As long as it's published and published well.

Agreed. I just hope they release the original 6 part series and don't cut it down to half that much.

I believe it was said to be an intended 5-parter, but you're pretty close.

I don't really care HOW many parts it has! I just want to see it really happen! I got soooooo mad at Archie for dropping the series before they came out with "Future War" that I fumed about it for weeks afterwards! Kinda reminded me of the way Marvel Comics dropped the "Biker Mice From Mars" comic book series after only THREE issues, when there were initially supposed to be SIX issues (I guess it was supposed to be a mini-series, or something). Which is the MAIN reason that I don't waste money on anything that Marvel has come out with since 1993.

I loved the Archie series, too. I know what you mean. I have alot of the issues but not all of them. I intend to get them from the official site in the future.

I also agree when you say you don't care how many parts it's in. Neither do I.

I just popped off an email to the Tales address on the main site regarding the Forever War... I'd suggest others do the same.

OH!! Oh Oh OH!!!

Chris Allan's got pictures of the Covers that never came of those!

Be right back!!!

*goes searching*

Okay, found them!!

Look about in the middle of the page... there's a bunch of B&W pics... oh man... this is gonna be wild...

My only fear is of who's not going to live at the end. I have a feeling my fave character's gonna get killed off again.... Leave Splinter alone, dangit!!!

*edit*

HUGE NEWS!!!!

Response to my email!!!

Hey Aaron. You'll be happy to hear that Dean Clarrain and Chris Allan will be tackling The Forever War as a stand-alone 96-page (more or less) graphic novel to be published by Mirage sometime in 2005!

(I didn't want Jephael to think that I was taking credit for something he did that's why I posted a link to the topic instead of just the image.)
Don't worry, dude. I originally got it from someone else's site only a year or so before I got a copy of #70 which had the preview in it.

Nice!

Funny that just last night I had a dream that I was in this store that had the Archies there. I was trying to figure out which issues to buy, when I saw this big (and unfortunately more expensive) book of a collection of the Archies. In the dream, I was trying to decide whether to buy the cheaper comics, or the book, as I figured I'd never find it anywhere else again. I woke up before I decided. Mayhaps I'll have to try having gin and tonics before bed more often, lol.
