I've come across tall Japanese guys, (I'm about 5'9 or near 5'10 in boots and of course, as a woman that's tall, but for a guy here that's not so much the case) but never that tall, unless he's shorter in his human form. He's from an older generation, so the height thing would surprise me. Now these young kids coming up with more dairy in their diet, I could see it.

I'm assuming Shredder's around 6'4 or 6'5 then.

There's conflicting concept artwork with wildly different height ranges, but I'd personally go with jth with Mikey at 5 foot and Splinter (and Shredder - his helmet probably adds a few inches to his actual height) being 6 foot some.

I wonder if they will continue to be the same height/age in the same way as Bart Simpson or will they age onscreen? Is there anyway for the models to be altered to show this or would it take up too much time rendering?

It would be nice if they do age April and Casey but I would be fine if that doesn't happen till season 4.

For some reason, I always thought Raph was the shortest Turtle in the group. I thought he made a comment about it and being glad for it when he almost got his head knocked off by the manhole cover in the Leatherhead episode.

I wonder, in the real world, boys are still growing in their mid to late teens. My cousin grew at least a couple of inches this past summer, and he's going from 15 to 16.

I find it sad that they don't release information about the upcoming episodes. They could either give an episode synopsis on each of the remaining episodes or brief teaser information so that fans can discuss it.

I'm new to this and it's driving me mad having to wait so long for practically anything.

If they gave out ep info, I could be more patient over waiting for actual episodes.

Man, I feel for you guys who had to put up with the real long hiatuses during season 1. Did the 2k3 version have that problem?

Seems they would worry about losing potential viewers, unless the target audience doesn't mind the repeats. As a kid, I remember how much Rugrats was rerun when in hiatus, and yet, I never grew tired of seeing the same eps over. Maybe that's Nick's prerogative? Who knows. I know Rugrats' hiatus isn't really comparable, since, at the time, it was more like, will we even continue this show, unlike TMNT.

It was never this bad during the 2k3 run of ninja turtles. Heck, the second season aired a week after the first season ended. That show wasn't even animated in cg. Like we all say the worst part about the hiatus is Nick not telling us when they plan on airing the new episodes. For me anyway, when i finally see the new episodes I'm let down quite often because the hype i build from the hiatus doesn't translate into the quality of the episode.

I wish Nick would have just ended the second season in august and start the new season in september. I don't even want to think about when they plan on airing the third season

They didn't say that, Cubed. They just said that there's no new ep on August 3rd. We could still get new eps in August, we're just not getting one at the beginning of August right now. Stop trying to act like you know what's going on and when they're going to air the eps when you don't know at all.

Exactly. It's horrible that they don't release the dates. I'd rather have the dates they come back rather than a synopsis or title. And you're right, the hype is built up and is a let down. The only big hype that was really worth it from this season for me was Vengeance is Mine. I was very impressed with Wrath of Tiger Claw too, I just didn't think it was going to be a good episode when I first heard about it.

For me I can take on or the other. Either air date info or a synopsis, having neither is a bother.

Going by some of the writing in that picture, it could be episode 24 of this series, because there's a #224, which may be a production code.
