Yeah I saw that too. I've seen that before. Nude models who want attention so they latch on to a popular hashtag as just an excuse to show pics.

YES. Most of the tweets were about how awesome the premiere was. The few tweets I've seen about the movie itself have been positive but it's usually just "the movie was awesome" or "loved the movie". No real reviews on it.

Yes, he fights a losing battle with his own self-worth.

He fights about as much as he fought in secret of the ooze. I would have liked to see him fight more, but remember, he only fought once in the 1990 movie and 3 times in the 2014 movie. So does having Shredder fight more really add to his character? Or is it more about his persona on the screen?

Wait, Shredder squares off against the turtles without a gun after all? If so then what's his fighting style like this time?

He only uses a gun once in the movie. It's a dart gun. It does not happen with the turtles. In fact, Shredder and the turtles spend little if no screen time together.

I remember you saying that, what are the darts supposed to do?

They contain the new ooze which transforms Bebop and Rocksteady

Well it's a step up from around the last movie released and you got a lot of turtlecest art on twitter based on the 2014 turtles.

Sounds to me he doesn't have much character to begin with in this movie, he doesn't even get a real name. At very least they could have tried to make him look bad ass. I suppose it might be strange to see him hold his own against the super strong turtles without some form of aid but on balance it would have been better than nothing but such is the way of things.

This is my favorite thing.

SPOILERS:
He's never referred to as 'Oruku Saki' but everyone in the city is aware of The Shredder and the damaged he caused. Casey even has a report of how many homicides he's responsible for. It seemed to be hinting more to something like the Joker in Dark Knight. This is an evil villain that nobody knows the history of or his true identity. However, that doesn't affect his performance in the movie. Brian Tee is much more sinister and darker than the Shredder in the last movie. Also here, he has a real purpose. He's not poisoning the air supply in an old tired cliche. He's recruited by Krang to open the portal from Dimension X so Krang can bring in the technodrome. Now, he doesn't do a lot of badass things in this movie, but I give credit where credit is due. Brian Tee is creepy as hell, and he shows no fear at all and that makes him much more interesting than any of the villains in the last movie. Krang is the primary villain that the turtles are trying to stop, however they have to stop Shredder because he's the gateway to Krang entering.

Shredder looks badass in this. Mostly due to Brian Tee's performance.

Would you say they're saving Shredder for the third movie?

I don't know. I wasn't expecting what I saw. It's a completely different direction than the last movie. So depending on how it does, will probably set the tone for the next one. I don't think they have a plan for a third. I think the reaction is going to drive it.

What makes the technodrome come a part? Is the eye ball located in the technodrome?

The Shredder in the 1990 movie basically defined his persona and added to his character when he went out to fight the Turtles, fought the Turtles on rooftop and was poised to kill Leonardo.

He really showed us a true vengeful side of his personality when he removed the lower piece of of his mask during the scene where Splinter confronted him.

I would say that those elements helped to define 90's movie Shredder despite that one fight that he engaged in with the Turtles (two fights total if anyone here takes SotO into account.)

Fight count doesn't mean as much compared to how well written the villain is and the attitude and determination that he delivers within a movie.

There was a new clip shown as part of WWE's Extreme Rules event last night with Sheamus talking to Shredder in the prison transport. It's also the first time WWE openly acknowledged Sheamus on-air as being part of the movie

Is the movie as cartoony as the trailers are making it out to be?
