lol! Reminds me of some horror movie version of that old Honey Mooners show. Yeah I'm betting these two Kraang have a history one way or another. I'd also love to hear Tom Kenny voicing a Kraang. Get Tara Strong doing toddler Kraang and you got yourself some kind of dimension X sitcom. It'd be filmed before a live Kraang audience. I doubt I could watch due to all that stilted mechanical laughter.

Seriously though, Kenny would make a great Kraang. Either that or Joe Eyeball. Hope they get Ron Pearlman, Pat Warburton, or Brad Garret to do Muckman.

Any of you guys interested in Robert Englund and John Kassir joining the cast even if its for a one shot Halloween episode as evil beavers that can enter peoples dreams?

I'm sure majority of us remember Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger, but how many remember John Kassir as the Crypt Keeper?

Ugh, I hate Fran Drescher. Always have and always will. But that sitcom sounds cool.

My parents didn't let me watch Tales from the Crypt back then, since it was an adult program, but I knew who voiced him later on and know what he sounds like.

Wait, didn't he voice Ray Rocket on Nickelodeon's Rocket Power too?

That aside, I still don't get what these Dream Beaver characters are all about.

Let's have three Kraang kids. Toss in Greg Cipes (an excuse to have him work with Tara). lol. Hm, Tom, Tara, and Greg. Scratch that. Have a teen daughter Kraang voices by Tara. Greg can voice boy next door Kraang with a crush on teen Tara Kraang. lol

Fran Drescher could be aunt Kraang and Rosie Perez can be gossipy neighbor Kraang.

How about a Kraang reality show?

Ciro, if you are checking out this board, please make this a thing. The Kraang with their own shows in Dimension X. lol

The Dream Beaver's are supposedly a take off the Terror Bears from Mirage which to put it bluntly look like the hell spawned rape children of a carebear and satan.

The Dream Beavers look like some really messed up rejects from the Carebear Cousins. The name is probably derived from the song Dreamweaver which Wes Craven has credited as the inspiration for Nightmare on Elm Street.

And much like Freddy they are going to enter the Turtle's dreams and attack them there. Since the episode is going to be shown around Halloween it's more then likely homage to Nightmare on Elm Street much like last year was homage to Aliens.

Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) is playing Doom Beaver
John Kassir (Crypt Keeper) is playing Dave Beaver
I don't know who is playing Dread Beaver and Dark Beaver

He's still creepy but given that CK was more well known in the 80's he's campy as hell now.

For anyone who wants to hear what John Kassir sounds like here's a clip:

Duuuuude, Tales From The Crypt is AWESOME - you should totes watch it if you have the time. Seriously great show, they don't make 'em like that anymore.

I don't recall Tales From The Crypt, I don't know if it ever aired in the UK but we had the cartoon spin off called Tales From The Crypt KEEPER. Still voiced by John Kassir but according to wiki the violence etc. was toned down a LOT and apparently they got some sort of child psychologist to edit it to make it suitable for children.

... there's not enough face-palm in the world for the idea of a "child-suitable" Tales From The Crypt. The entire point of Crypt is that a lot of its stories are about jerky people getting their just desserts. If you make the punishments less horrible, it defeats the purpose entirely.

Probably why I grew up to be such an upstanding citizen.

I think it's because too many parents over-sanitize everything for kids, so seeing some guy get his just desserts would likely be too much for them now. I watched Aliens (complete with depicted chest-bursters) when I was a kid and it didn't phase me, even as it was the less censored 80s. Back then you could watch robots get drunk (G1 Transformers) and nobody batted an eyelash, but now you can't show anything like that or the bizzy mawms throw a fit.

I remember it and him and how he sounded. The intro theme by Elfman is one of my favorites...I just couldn't see anything past the Crypt Keeper's introducing the episode's story.

I guess parents were more strict back then. If I wasn't the age a program or movie was aimed at, I wasn't allowed to watch. My mothers argument was that, for TV programs, it was shown at night for a reason when most kids are in bed. Usually stuff, back then, where the target audience were adults aired at like 9;00 and up. Maybe 10.

Did any of you TMNT wiki editing folks post a new title on the run of the mill wikipedia site for episode 23 of s2? I'm not thinking so, because there's one there and it just sounds odd. Rather like that one anonymous wiki person who used to post bogus episode titles for the Back To The Sewer season on wikipedia during the 2k3 run EG Sewer Snow. This time around, it's "Leader Must To Be." Seriously, go over to the 2012 episode list and check this one out. Now, if someone who has inside information typed this while they were half asleep, I can totally relate because I used to write odd bits of notes down when I was half asleep in class like,"Roger is developing tomatoes in the darkroom." I have no idea who Roger is or what it had to do with American History, but it does happen from time to time if dedicated TMNT fans are trying to divulge information and stay awake after a really tough day.

Buuuut I'm guessing none of you guys wrote anything over there because nothing like Leader Must To Be is showing up on the actual tmnt wiki sites. Although if you take the Must out, you get Leader To Be which sounds like a pretty good title for a Leo beatdown episode. Taking To out just makes it sound vague. Leader Must Be... What? Eating pizza? Watching reruns of Space Heroes or Super Hyper Hyper Team Hyper Mechaforce go?(Too many hypers in there but I'm packing for a trip to take an exam.) Anywho, not sure if this info is official, but I had fun guessing what Leo might be doing after removing the word to from the title. And it's fun speculating about that Leader To Be bit. He's probably having tea with tea junky kid and Raph has to take over for an hour or so while laughing at the idea of Leo being forced to drink more tea with a bossy kiddo. I don't want to think of an episode simply entitled Leader Must because it makes me think of a very filthy dumpster diving Leo who is in desperate need of a shower.

The wiki gets a lot of stuff like that. A year ago, people kept adding fan made characters to the wiki and passing them off as real.

I hope the Leo beatdown episode is titled "What Goes Around Comes Around" as that would be an awesome nod to the comics.

Leader must be could also be used as a means of saying the power has indeed to be passed over to someone else, such as [The] Leader must be (insert name of Turtle here).

Does April even live about an antique store in this series?

Check "Mutation Situation" again, Cubed. During the opening scenes the turtles visit April and you can clearly see that she lives above an antique shop called "Second Time About."

The next episodes come out sometime in September, they want to let the movie have a run first. That way the finally isn't overshadowed by the movie and vice vs.
