Leo narrowed his eyes. "Believe me, I know more than my fair share of things I never wished to know. And if you aren't going to tell me anything," he drew his sword back, "I have no further use for you."

Leo threw his captive towards the other snake-creature. "You two are out numbered."

Adam stumbled towards Eve, he flushed a darker color as his anger began to burn.

Eve continued to stare down her opponents. "Out numbered, maybe, but outclassed? Never!" She laughed turning with her brother to leave the alley. Before they dissppeared she called back. "We will meet again."

Adam absentmindedly rubbed his neck as he slowly followed Eve. He waited until they were clear of the alleyway before speaking.

"Your asssisstance would have been ussefull!"

"Why?" Eve did not bother to face Adam. "From where I wass sstanding, you had everything perfectly under control." She glanced over her shoulder. "I didn't want to sspoil your fun."

Adam grabbed Eve, roughly spinning her round he slammed her against the wall.

"I've come too far to fail now!" He spat, "I will get what we came for, and no lowly sshellback iss going to sstop me!"

"They're too united, as a group they're too sstrong for uss." Eve shrank back, cursing herself for daring to speak. An uneasy silence followed

"Then we musst break the unity, turn brother against brother." Adam released his grip on Eve. "It is time we had another talk with this Kyoko."

"Yeah, I could use some rest, too." Leo walked with Raph over to where Mike, Don, and 38 were. "But we do know some of why they're after us. They want our blood, for what, we're not sure, but there are only so many things they could do with it." When they reached the others, he asked, "Everyone all right?"

Kyoko smiled from her place in the shadows in the alley across the street. She turned and walked away from Leo and the others. "Very good, glad to see you haven't lost your touch, Leonardo-kun."

Michelangelo waved to Leonardo and Raphael. "Yeah, we're okay, but 38 looks like she might've broken something. And that snake girl... She seemed to be avoiding a fight with us. I wonder what's going on."

Don just pursed his lips. "It was strange she was not offensive toward us. Perhaps she was watching how we reacted and acted to their actions," he told the others.

He glnaced once at 38 again. "I can take a look at that when we get back to someplace safe, if you need."

"Hrmm..." Don looks at 38th, feeling that they sankes still could come back and catch them off guard if they remained out on the streets much longer. The injury to the little one didn't look apparent, so he carefuly picked her up to set her across his shoulders. "Can you hold out until we get back to the room?"

Leonardo gave the group a once over. No one other than 38 seemed to be seriously injured. "Okay, let's go back. Hopefully we can fine out more about this situation tomorrow. Looks like we could all use the rest."
