You know, i was just thinking back to last week's episode when Baxter pops up and Shredder says that he'll have his head, then Baxter says "No Shredder, I'll have yours."

Well Shread-head (heh) showed him!! He has his own head!!

Atleast when his Head or Helmet fell off it didn't had any blood coming out. Since the animators had to avoid showing any blood. Atleast they did make the fight look good with the Guardians.

When Leo defeated the Shredder it reminded me of Jango Fett getting his head sliced with no blood included.

When I told my friend what I saw he was speechless. But he's not a 100% TMNT fan but he's still great to talk to.

I guess next week's episode will be a filler and a Raphel episode us Raphel Fans will like next weeks.

I dought if FoxBox will get any complains about this episode. Parents just don't understand Action pack shows of Today.

This episode is the perfect example of nearly everything that is right about this new TMNT series.

1) Sticking close to the Mirage material
2) Allowing for violence- Decapitation, nuff said.
3) Turtles are willing to kill- This is important because in Mirage the TMNT, while not being murderous, rarely hesitated to vanquish their foes.
4) TMNT are proactive- They don't hang around and wait for Shredder to do something, they go right after him. They also go after him to "fight to the finish" as Leo puts it.
5) Leo is the ULTIMATE badass. He's as serious a hero as I've ever seen in an animated cartoon. He's as cold as ice and tough as steel!
6) Baxter is not just a weak side villian. He is a truly villainous mastermind in his own right.
7) When the TMNT and Foot were fighting Baxter, NOTE: the two sides did NOT help each other/team-up. How many other cartoons could resist this temptation? If you think about it, why would the TMNT want to help Hun? Let Baxter destroy him, it makes their lives easier, and vice versa with Shredder and co. I must give major props to the writers for being so bold.

I'm liking the new cartoon's story so much, dare I say that I might like it better than the Mirage continuity? I love the additions to the Mirage storyline like: Utrom/Foot, Foot/Stockman, Leo/Shredder, and Shredder as "mystical" (or whatever he is). These additions are really helping to flesh out the story.

Go ahead and dare, bro ... I, for one, will second you. Mirage is still tops with me, but the new toon continues to gain ground and has almost eclipsed it in my book. It's like they've taken the best elements of the Mirage series, added new elements, rearranged a few things, and tweaked it to perfection. I LOVE THIS SHOW!

well if shredder turned out to be utrom it would be the ****en worst thing ever to happen to a cartoon. The idea that he is one pisses me off. It would ruin everything. Theshredder please be quiet. I would hate it so bad if he were a utrom.

Shredder is definatly NOT Utrom. This episode was the best turtles episode ever, except when shredder picked up his head. that sorta ruined the rest of the series for me unless they have a good explaination. i think they shoulda left him dead and if they wanted to bring him back later they could use the worm cloning thing like in the comic.

wow

I loved today's episode .....
Not as much as part 2 though ... but still great
I don't think we have seen the last of Dr. Baxter Stockman ^_~
God and the guardians! I am just so excited to see the Utroms I think because I can't wait till we see toys of them lol...
Baxter beating everyone up made my day he may be mad but he's a nerd and us nerds deserve to kick some ass every once in a while lol....hun so had that coming God I hate him...
also loved shredder using Leo's swords for some reason
OK wow the Leo chopping off shredders head thing was so unexpected for me and shocked me and brought a tear to my eyes at first .....but omg what in the hell he got up and walked away
now I thought it could be a few things...
1. He ducked inside his armor
2. he's a robot
3. He's an alien
4. God damn maggots from the comic!
but yes oh man this story line was so great and it always deserved to be animated
. And yes I get into a trance also...family get mad at me because I block everything out...

Yeah, he's dead. Sorry, no more Splinter. Dead and gone forever. Oh, wait, wrong universe. Stay tuned, young turtle fan, to find out if he's dead or just on a very long, and well-deserved, vacation!

well this has brought up a question in my mind

This is the first tiem we've seen a confermed kill from teh turtles point of view. How exactly will they handle it? Having them not accnowledge it wouldn't be PC, nor would having them like or joke about it. Just cause the mirage TMNT were willing to do so, with the world the way it is, and this show reaching small children, I can't help but feel that the next ep will have a sub plot involing Leos greif for 'taking' a life. And the back lash of having Shredder alive should be interesting

OK I just saw the episode, and It was amazing. I am a Big Mirage fan, but I wouldn't have guessed that Shredders head would be chopped of.

I think it was a clone, a succesfull one, in the comics it's a worm clone. Some of you guys might remember that!

But since so many of you are debating over Saki being a Utrom or not, let me trow in another confusing detail. Remember the episode when Saki fight of a bunch of his Foot Ninja's right before Hun gives him the Sword of Tengu on the red pillow? You will see although he is half naked, his belly is covered by a "Belly bandana"....So for you guys that might be another reason more, for him to be a Utrom

Think about it!!!!

I missed the entire episode on the account of my family and watching the Buffs. I will have to wait until it comes on DVD/VHS or if the FoxBox does reruns.

Btw I had the feeling that Splinter was drawn by another guy this time. Like when Leo left him on that side of the building, he looks a little different

The part when they use Sword of Tengsu and Stockman's Handcanon to destroy the electricity was unexspected for. Since we know the HQ will be no longer be a private building from the public.

I wounder what the new HQ's would be in Season 2? Maybe something like in the Movies when they had to go hide at the City Dump for a HQ.

If Hun is still alive, he and the Foot will be surprise to see their Master alive.

Notice every Shredder Battle would have Fire in the Background and Shredder going through the Flames.

I haven't really put my two cents in yet because I had to watch the episode in peices. *grumbles*... i watched the first 5 minutes.. taped the rest.. . had to leave for a couple of hours and then watched the last bit when I got home.

I have to admit I was really impressed. I almost fell off my couch when Leo cut off shredders head.. I have to say I really Enjoyed this episode. and all my opinons have pretty much been expressed already.

I don't want to throw my hat in on the "what is shredder" thing. I am not sure I want to know yet. although I am curious.

I just have to say I was beyond impressed with this episode.

I not saying I'm sure 100% Shredder is Utrom it just seems like something likely to happen.

That's true but who every said all Utroms must have the same voice? And Shredder voice certainly isn't normal.
