Right, 'cause Harley's the only questionable choice on the team:

Obviously Harley's relationship to the Joker is pivotal.

I can't speak to this version, but originally Harley was nearly an Olympic level gymnast, and has a Phd. I'd think those would more than qualify her.

Besides, isn't the whole point to get them to do a job and then hope they die trying?

The one movie I'm so incredibly excited for, and a few bitchy, obnoxious, loud members just want to critique everything about it, even if they have no intention of seeing it.

Seriously, how much of a lack of an actual life do you have to have to spend all your time on an Internet forum insulting things. It's pathetic.

The "get a life" card is long played out. I much prefer drawing the "reallistic expectations" card

Look, I'd love DC to succeed also, but their pedigree so far is not the answer and SS came at a time before the course correction.

Plus we just came off the worst adaptation of an overrated Alan Moore "classic" involving Kevin Conroy f*cking Twilight Sparkle. Nobody's in a charitable mood.

Nah, there's still plenty of situations to play that card. I think it ties in nicely to the realistic expectations one. Just because you've been told to get a life many times doesn't mean an additional time still doesn't apply.

This movie has been given no indication that it won't be good, other than the mixed reviews of BvS. That doesn't exactly justify all this critique before it even comes out.

But Suicide Squad is intended to be its own thing and not a springboard for Justice League.

I'm still hugely looking forward to it and have high expectations, even after I had to admit BvS had some SERIOUS flaws.

Its easy to forget this is the first live-action portrayal of Harley in a movie EVER. She was never in any of the previous Batman movies so this is going to be the first mainstream exposure for the character.

I mean this is our third movie Joker (or 4th if you count 60's Batman), but its also the debut of several characters like Killer Croc, Deadshot, etc. But Harley is the main one.

I only wish someday Riddler and Mr. Freeze can be done justice on the big screen.
