I'm happy with the casting for Mike and Raph. I like both actors and hope that they do justice to the characters.

I'm a little confused. Is TMNT coming onto the actual Nickelodeon channel, or will it air on Nicktoons? I keep finding a different answer.

The new show is supposed to air on Nickelodeon, where it'll get the most viewers and promotion.

Nick wouldn't kill TMNT by putting it on a cable block. But that's probably where the 4kids series will air in reruns.

While the Mirage comics weren't my cup o' joe, I take it he was more like the OT interpretation, sympathetic and clowny for the sake of lifting spirits rather than just getting attention.

I've always found Mirage Mike to be far more the "everyman" than anything else. He's just a guy trying to do his thing, but who also happens to be a mutant turtle trained since childhood to be a ruthless killer.

He's not the Spicoli a la the OT, or the Speed Freak from 2k3. Personally, I think the first live action movie is the only other incarnation that comes close to being like Mirage Mike.

Agreed. The original movie was about as spot on for all of the characters that I've ever seen - which is part of the reason it's so epic.
