Jason Biggs recast as Leonardo. Seth Green to replace him - Page 28

This whole thing will sit a lot easier with me if they actually acknowledge his voice change or give a reason for it, in series. A puberty joke would be ideal, where Leo clears his throat & goes from Dom to Seth or something.

Yeah, me too, would be easier to throw in a quick little quip about it in there than it would be to just ignore it. Let it be something that happened within the show and not just dominated by Biggs being booted out.

You're welcome. I did it to laugh at Leo with Chris' voice and to kind of calm some people down who don't know Seth Green from anything other than Family guy. xD A lot of people thought he'd sound like a low pitched Chris Griffin or something. @_x

Yeah, I was joking around with my mom and told her that I think it would be funny if Leo said there was an evil monkey in his closet. But as I said before, I don't think Seth will do a lower pitched Chris voice for Leo though I do think he can make his voice deep enough to sound like a regular teenager or he may just use his regular speaking voice. Not only did Jason do that, but Seth McFarlane uses his regular voice as Brian.

I think Seth will be fine. He may have that offensive, vulgar humor, but I think he knows how to behave when he needs to. He knows how and when to filter or censor himself and I'm sure he will keep his adult things separate from his nick things. Biggs didn't know how to do that or didn't care too.

It doesn't matter what you did in your career so much as what and how you are approaching the audience of a job that you're spotlighting now.

I mean, even Nintendo a family focused/Kid friendly company (for the most part) Used his Robot chicken at E3. He kept it clean and funny and that was riskier than what Nick is doing.

I don't see the same problem with Seth as I saw with Biggs.

Exactly. Seth does do more adult things such as Robot Chicken and Family Guy, but he can also do something like the Nick cartoon and know when to tow the line. Biggs obviously didn't care what Nick said and felt he could do whatever he wanted, and that was the issue. I think Seth will have more sense than to make fun of people's deaths and things like that. He seems a lot more mature in that regard.

Oh, and I could also picture Seth MacFarlane doing Brian's voice for Leo.

For me, it doesn't matter so much what other media a guy is in. Seth Green's sense of humor is vulgar, and sometimes too offensive for my tastes, but he doesn't come off as personally an asshole, the way Biggs does.

Seth Green will quit the show in 1 year, most likely. This guy constantly gets new work in either movies or TV shows. I can't imagine a voice actor salary pays very much, I don't see why he'd bother taking hours of his day for this over any of his acting career jobs.

Give him a little credit. He's stayed with Family guy this whole time. I think he'll stick with it as long as he loves it, I don't see why he'd quickly give up this amazing opportunity. Even if the pay isn't as high, it's the #^%$ing teenage mutant ninja turtles and I may be wrong, but I think he's a huge fan.

I think he'll stick with it for a while, I honestly don't see him giving up this role so quickly.
