A man after my heart. Part 3 will always be my favorite simply because of the Terry Silver/Mike Barnes combo.

That's the one I owned on VHS as a kid so it's the one I've seen the most. Yeah, those two were such a couple of sh*theels.

"It's blood. So WHAT? ...Make believe it's HIS. This guy wants to BREAK you... HUMILIATE you... STOMP YOU INTO THE GROUND!!! NOW WHATTYA GONNA DO ABOUT IT?!?!"

Me and my buddy used to spend all day at work trading Karate Kid quotes and pissing off everyone around us.

Watching the third one would've required staying up too late. Though I did spin the fourth one last night - I'm the kind of fiend that watches them out of order!

I watched The Blind Swordsman Zatoichi, Battle Royale, & Time Traveler, in the last few days. Japanese flicks. The first was dope, the second one was super ill, & the third was really nice but it suckerpunched me in the feels. Still worth a watch.

watched Taken and Taken 2, both are great movies. Out of Reach starring Stevel Seagal was not so great, basically same type of movie, but it's direct to DVD Seagal era....

Brief synopsis? I love time travel movies!

I think I passed it once while that searching around Amazon Prime; is that the one with the girl who somehow travels thru time to save a family member or some such?

If you have Prime and enjoy time travel, check out TimeCrimes. It's subtitled in Spanish, and the story is trippy - very well done on the limited budget provided.

There's also a twist (of course!) that ties up the tale quite nicely!

Birdman (aka. The Ultimate Michael Keaton Movie). Best film I've seen in aaages & occasionally really funny. See it on the biggest screen possible. Keaton deserves that Oscar he's gonna get. Edward Norton is the best he's been in years. When it was over, my whole audience just sat there stunned. It's really something.

John Wick, one of the better revenge movies.

Only God Forgives, before seeing it I thought that Ryan's character was the main baby face of the movie, I don't know what to make of the ending. I don't know if it's supposed to be intentionally funny or not. John wick's motive for seeking revenge and the son's motive for attacking him first are the only original things about the movie imo, I like it but it's honestly pretty generic once you look past them. The actor who played the main antagonist has zero charisma.

I want to see birdman, but the music that was made for it worries me. I'm worried that so much of it will play and that it'll dilute the movie, if there is one thing in life that I really really really hate it's music that sounds like a pile of excrement. What I am trying to say is that the birdman score is that.

I don't think it dilutes the movie. It's not really music for the most part, at least not in the classical sense. It's mostly percussion, and I thought it worked really well.

I love that movie but also understand entirely why the world hates it (slow, bizarre movie topped by perhaps the most un-audience friendly ending ever). Everyone's a lunatic in it (including Gosling) and the sadistic cop is literally supposed to be God himself. The last 10 mins is vague & has WTF written all over it but if you think of the films title, it makes sense.

Yeah the music propels the film along perfectly. It's really cool.
