kya; (thinking out loud) don and I made bread. Machias took me swimming.... I ... lost her... then Don was in the infrimary and not making sense... so I pulled of his mask.... (she giggled and whispers to Kameko) ... you'd think that little piece of cloth actually COVERS something with the fuss he made... (normal voice) then... i was cold. and Raph was mad and Machias said it was an accident and ... and... I got REALLY cold, so I went to bed, but there were all these bad dreams. (she shivered and pulled the blankets close again, wishing that the soup hadn't gotten cold) ... and splinter woke me up in here.

kya knew she'd neglected to mention Mike and the bath, but she still wasn't clear on all that. so she went with what she knew.

Don blushed a bit at the mask reference and Kya's giggles, but was grateful that she'd whispered whatever the joke was.
D: ( internal) don't wanna know.

He listened, slightly less confused to Kya's summary of her day.

D: I don't know about her going to bed, but Mike says he found her in the shower in her bathing suit trying to sleep under a wet towel. She was incoherent and we figured out, hopefully quick enough, that she was suffering from hypothermia.... she's been getting better since we started her on warm fluids....

Kya tilted her head: Hypothermia? Don't be silly. I get cold. I'm way too skinny. I'm almost always cold. One of the reasons I like to cook. The ktchen's toasty.

D: there's no arguing with her right now. She's still muddled from the oxygen-stravation to her brain... I don't think it'll last. Like I said, she's improving. but she's not been able to give us a straight answer really.

As for all that stuff about Machias... I'm telling you guys, that's a ugly situation right now. Mike and Raph are ready to ... (spots Kya watching him and bites down on the phrase "kill each other," opting for a lame substitute.) "spit fire" at one another. Watch out for THAT conversation trap....
