i guess, but also keep in mind that Don was ripping on him later in the movie

Don: You're a claustraphobic

Casey: you want a fist in the mouth? i never even looked at another guy!

plus. Mike and Don have a bond, and mike can be a little dim at times

although i doi kinda like when those two don't get along, that fight scene in one if the mirage comics when don kicks casey's ass was a great moment

i loved that, an intellectual can't enjoy the stooges? that's why steve martin has a career, he's an intellectual moron.

i loved don's "nyuk, nyuk" that's one of the highlights of that scene for me

I love his "Nyuk Nyuk" as well. And I especially like his laugh at Mikey's can-opener joke (my mother laughs at that every time). And his lower lip as he said, "Uh? Hey." when Casey threw the oil rag at his face was a good chuckle I must say.

So I guess you could say their friendship was not as solidified as Casey and Raph's.
Well, I always figured that if Casey were to hang out with a turtle aside from Raph it would be Mike. They're both goof offs that like to have fun rather than take things too seriously. Don's a total nerd (or at least he was supposed to be), he seems like the least likely of people for Casey to chill with.

well Raph Donny and Mikey all share some similiarites. cause Raph always wants to fight smae wit Casey, Donny likes Mechanics Same wit Casey and Mikey likes to goof, just like Casey. And this cna be proven by the current posts and by watching the 1-3rd ninja turtle movies and by watching some of the new ninja turtle epasodes.

Good point. And that's exactly why I posted this thread. I feel that in all three movies, Donnie had more Mikey traits than Mikey did.

Oh, I love that part. One of my favorite parts of the movie, lol.

Of course intellectuals can like the Stooges!! I love the Stooges. I should have rephrased, I guess. I think all the 'nyuk, nyuks' got to be a bit much... that's all. Maybe if they did it a little less... I dunno. But, nothing against Don (or anyone else) liking the Stooges.

Yes!!

Yeah the marshmallow thing was cool, but it did seem more of a Mike thing to do. They could've easily given it to Mikey too..it wasn't like he was doing something else. Though maybe it was showing Mikey taking things seriously--which he does do when it comes to Splinter....eventually (when Splinter talks, he often is in the backround really paying attention, once you've got his attention! ;p ). Maybe it was Don because he's the more logical, he's the one that said 'we all THINK he's alive' so maybe he was expecting it not to work.

I don't think Don had more Mikey traits than Mike did but...he definitely was more like Mikey than he was like himself. He kind of flipflopped...if they were in front of machines he'd pop into Don-mode, but otherwise he was kind of miniMikey. But I guess they felt they needed someone to do it--usually during those times, Leo was too busy being leaderguy, Raph was too busy being angsty.

OH, one thing that would've made sense to flipflop--have Mikey doing the 'yeah...y-yeaaaah' and 'raahhh!!' scene and have Donny be working with the yoyo. The yoyo thing was less over the top humor and damnit...it's hard to walk the dog Donny'd be able to figure it out! Although I LOVE the voicework Donny does in that scene....

Oh speaking of voices--what goes on in the Raph-Casey scene?! Most of the time Raph sounds like Raph, then he says "Well??" And it doesn't sound like him at all, it sounds like a mix of Mikey and Leo! What happened??

No i disagree cause mikey liked to play around and so did donny, so Mikey with the yoyo is a good part. and same with wat donny did.
