You can't say that's not what they were going for. It was almost the same tone and everything (I'd know. It's my favorite movie). My favorite turtle quoted my favorite Ghostbuster. Priceless.

No Don was with Kid Terra, Leo and Mike. It was Splinter, Candy Fine, Raph, Ninjara, Future raph and Future Don.

As far as the episode goes it gives me a couple of theories.

1) The reason why Stockman is working for Bishop is because Bishop could construct him a new body (one of flesh and blood). It only makes sense. Judging from this episode it is all but certain that Bishop has reincarnated himself several times firstly because he was at the Roswell incident which wouldn't make sense time wise. Secondly because of Baxter's totally obvious body decomposition comment. So using this same technology I believe that Bishop will give Baxter a new human body in exchange for his loyalty and hard work.

2) The reason how we'll get the massive Mutant Don is obviously through that slime leftover from the instant aliens. I mean, could they make the music any more dramatic?

It was a good episode overall. At first I thought it was going to be one of those episodes has a lot of action. Not much else. But instead this episode has become sort of like the Secret Origins and Alien Invasion/Worlds Collide of season four. The episode which pretty much sets up the events which will occur in the rest of the season. Ya I'm done now.

Well remember last season it was revealed that Bishop is really old because he was pals with President Grant. This makes him at least 200.

But I do think you're right...especially considering the "In season 4 Stockman's worse than ever." image from the TMNT preview. Bishop has to have promised Baxter a new body, and i assume Baxter's promised his mind to help with not only super-soldiers but to keep Bishop himself from breaing down.

on to Gamera-Don, who knows They were all four exposed to the Zit Alien's sludge. Think that it'll come incontact with something in the sewers to make it mutangenic?

And if so what'll happen to them. Will they move into the sewers take up a residence (much like the mutates move into the Labyrinth in "Gargoyles")?

Somehow, I can imagine that'd be pretty crowded. That was a lot of critters.

I think it's more presumed that he's alive, considering Hun is alive. The guys probably keep in contact with Leatherhead more often than what they air on the show.

Hmmmm...... After doing some thinking I wonder if Bishop has Leatherhead again like he did in season 3. It wouldn't be suprising since both Leatherhead and Bishop were at Shredder's building at the same time and we haven't seen Leatherhead in season 4 yet.

Ohhhhh. You know, that is pretty likely... but I thought by now he'd prefer the enhanced strength and durability of a robotic body. But that is a good point..

I really liked this episode, and I was expecting not to like it because i'm not a sci-fi episode fan. But I really have to say that Raphael had me on the floor in this one. He had some great one liners and he was sarcastic as hell, he was kind of like old toon Raphael in this one.

And he kept picking on Donatello in this episode. I Love Donatello he is such a cutie. Sam Regal does a great job portraying him and he has great dilverery on his lines. Loved the little bit between Michaelangelo and Donatello right after Mikey got slimed and Donatello said he thought he wore it well LOL Donatello your so cool!

Oh I Loved the part where Raphael is looking around through those goggles at the UFO's and then gets frustrated in typical Raphael fashion and says: "argh, this techno stuff confuses me! Just show what to hit!" LOL

And I loved how he wanted to wait and hear Bishop hit bottom, that had me giggling.

And again for the third episode in a row Donatello has saved Mikey's butt...Michaelangelo maybe you need more practice your slipping boy Donatello has become your baby sitter

The whole pulsating hand with Bishop and needing another body because it was decomposing reminded me alot of Naraku from Inuyasha. If Bishop starts taking his body part tries reconstructing it with other creatures body parts I'm gonna flip, because that'll make him exactly like Naraku

Yeah, I noticed that too. There's got to be a reason the writers are playing that up so much. Perhaps a SAINW refrence? Maybe we're finally going to see that overprotective/paranoid side of Donny that we've been expecting since he got back. He probably keeps imagining Mikey losing his arm, so whenever a baddie gets anywhere near Mikey, Don goes all hyper-protective. Maybe it's forshadowing for some sacrifice or break down on Don's part...Perhaps the shift will focus from Leo's angst to Don's like so many people around here seem to want. If so, it would make sense if it has something to do w/ Gimera Don.

Of course, it used to be that Raph was saving everyone's shells (especially Donny...Leo some too) in every other episode. Raph doesn't seem to be the "got your back" type as much lately. Raph & Mikey seem to be getting more distant lately. I don't know, but their only "bonding" seems to be Raph hitting & threatening Mikey. Hmm, the writers might be trying to move the focus to the shifting loyalties in the group dynamic. It's still Leo/Raph, but now it's more Don/Mikey, Leo/Mikey & Raph/Don. Leo/Don & Raph/Mikey don't seem that close... But maybe it's just me. Honestly, they all seem more distant lately...except Mikey & Don. That's what I think the writers are trying to get across w/ the whole Don saving Mikey in every episode thing. Just mho.
