Either another turtle, or coloring it, or continuing the "sleeve"

Barkworm, that made me crack up.

Anyway, started chatting with a local artist here, works at the most recomended parlor in the city. I've had a few friends say to go to him too, so as soon as I get my court fines paid off I'll be getting

On my upper left pec, in red.

Jd? If the parlor itself is clean as you like-- start checking their artist's portfolios. Everyone's got something they just draw BETTER than anyone else. And there's no sense in getting the artist who's queen of Dice and anchors to do your Ivy--especially if there's a water/foliage artist in residence.

My tat's an original--my artist worked with me to modify the flash (the drawing it's based on) and make the design more OPEN incase i wanted to add to the thing later. (Rather than having 3 tattoos lumped together, leaving the design so it can be added to to make it all look like one piece.) I'd caution against belly tatoos for girls-- yes we all age and sag EVERYWHERE-- BUT you can still be young and have your tatoo horribly stretched and irregular should you ever become pregnant. (That and you've gotta be STILL for a good tat, and holding your tummy perfectly flat will be more of a challenge than you'll want for several hours.)

Brodie? My tat's about the size you were talking about--it ran me $500. With color.

in case you wanted to see it. It's LOW on my lower back, which is why the image is cropped... there's actually a few more sakura blossoms and loose petals floating on the down below the edge of that picture. I apologize about the lightness and the slight blur--it's hard to take a picture of your own back.

This isn't necroposting, cause its relevant.
The eye looks funky cause I was bleeding. Odd though, out of 3 tattoos, the only color other than black is a bit of white, and thats on Wolverines Eyes.

Even though I hate Wolverie, I have to admit that's a sweet tat. Who ever did that one, did a great job on it.

And yeah, there's no rule against Nercro posting as long as you are saying something releavent, so don't worry about it.

I do not have a tattoo because I have a future job around teenagers and having a tattoo may not be a good idea. Also, there is a risk of various types of infections that can mess up your life. So, I recommend shopping around before you get a tattoo.

I'm probably going to be an art teacher in a few years, but as long as I wear long sleeves and -gasp- pants, I should be set.

You could always get it on your chest, SF.

Exactly...i have four fairly large tats and they are only noticable if im shirtless...i can wear long/short sleeves, pants/shorts with no problem...basically, you'll see them if i want you to see them...
