NO-bad review from hollywood reporter

I just think people should'nt get so bent out of shape about it. So it was'nt their cup of tea. Who cares? they don't speak for everyone, its just their opinion. I mean there were people who ripped into 300 last week and that film was freaking awesome. We all have different tastes- this was'nt their's. No big.

NO one needs me to remind them of the Siskel and Ebert review of the FIRST TMNT movie-- and look how well IT did!

Now I for one can't find a single usage of a Puma/Mountain Lion/Couger in myth or legend... however that doesn't mean there isn't any. After all the TMNT encountered the Jaguar god in Brazil in the comics and there's the Panther god in Marvel comics.

In Siberian myth the earth was formed on the back of a giant frog...instead of a turtle.

Actually read your review thread. If you think that's bashing then your illiterate. I told you I wasn't going to rate your review I just pointed out a few movie standards. They weren't for you nessicarly as they were for everyone.

I complain alot on here because I can. That's the point. I can complain all I want on here and it doesn't matter. I don't complain much at all outside of the internet. It's like venting.

I attacked nothing, I simply commented on you telling someone they have low standards for expecting a great movie when they walk into TMNT. If anything that's you attacking someone.

So far, your review was the only fair one I've seen.

But, I can maybe see why those douches didn't like it. The movie was made with fans in mind rather than novices.

Yeah I overreacted and didn't want to start a feud so I edited it, but too late obviously. I've been a TMNT fan all my life and just reviewed it as objectively as I could. But no I didn't attack anyone, except for maybe against you which I apologize. We're all turtle fans, no hard feelings.

it's ok guys we as fans really shouldnt be fighting with one another I think thats what ticks me off more than anything around here!

we may not always agree but thats one damn thing we can agree upon we like tmnt even if it's differnt things about them and all the shows and comics.
And we really need to stop coming down on one another.
If the Drome and other tmnt sites had not been here just think who would you have to talk about tmnt with agreements or dissagreements.

The Ninja Turtles aren’t supposed to be smart cinema. But you’d hope, that finally freed from the bonds of bad foam costumes they’d use the limitless world of CGI to blow the audience away with some really incredible ninja fighting stuff.
that line is really rude to all the people who worked on the 80's film I hope zombie jim henson comes back from the dead and eats this guy lol
But the line about tmnt not being smart is really ignorant.
But allot of what he's sad at the same time is decent and sort of agree about the character designs.
I still can't wait to see the movie none the less.

Another guy that doesn't get it. He thinks the movies main plot was the monsters, and the side plot was Leo's rise to be the leader. He completley missed the point.

I'd like to see exactly what he meant about the humans being poorly animated. The clips I've seen say otherwise.

Plus, he can't spell Raphael.

I couldn't help it I wrote him a comment. I was polite but pointed out the fact that he had really missed the entire point of the film. I also pointed out he spelled Raphael wrong.

No, it's true. Ninja Turtles movies have always been popcorn flicks. They're not made to make you think, or make you come to some sudden revelation. They're made for you to have fun, laugh and get a kick out of some cool action. That's it.

The true ignorance comes from all the people here who can't seem to accept that different people have different opinions. You all need to take a step back and realize that we are the hardcore fan base, most of you are going to defend this movie to the bitter end, even if it's the worst piece of TMNT related entertainment to ever be released. The guy doesn't get the point of the film? Wha? Isn't the point of the film to entertain, one way or the other?

Oh dude get off your ****ing high horse. I got no problem with people not liking the movie, but I got a problem with the ignorance coming from them. Especially that last guy who completely missed the point. And couldn't even spell Raph's name right.
