I have to say I agree with this! It's really personally my only qualm with the way he did the guys I know it's mirage-esk but with the realistic look to the characters I think the no pupils make the guys look blind.

I wasn't too crazy bout his Leonardo, but I really like his Donatello. It's possible I'm biased.

from a Don fan, I don't like it, perhaps because his skin looks like an old rotten potato or I don't know, something dead emane from him. thought I usually love Dave Rappoza's artworks especially Casey Jones and April, I think humans's more his stuff Imo, maybe not.

I understand how you feel Loco, but the idea is to make them look as "real" as possible. If the TMNT were real they'd be ugly as hell, haha.

I actually liked the Leo better. The angle he chose for it suited his style better. This one lacks personality. Also if you're gonna use the colored headbands they give them their cartoon personality. Don't make them all angry and brooding. If you're gonna do that then give them all red.

Yes, they are quite stunning.

I have to agree with spitfire though. These are a blend of OT and Mirage. The bandana colors don't fit great with the style as they tend to elicit a feeling of kiddyness imo. Of course, it doesn't take anything away from how much I dig these

Amazing stuff. I don't really see these so much as a blend between Mirage and the old cartoon except in the sense that some people consider the Mirage universe to be more like the reality that we live in than the other universes-- so basically, if you know anything about quantum mechanics, a world in which these characters DO exist is possible (alternate reality theory) and this is what they would look like. Borderline disturbing stuff, LOVE IT!!! Except Leo looks how I would imagine Raph

I created my thread for opinions on his Donatello piece only, I didn't read the almighty book of Technodrome Lore that doesn't allow this...oh well!
