This whole thing with Raph reminds me of the first time I plugged in stuf for the LorR madlib... it came up as "Raphael, the Queen of the Elves". Man.. picturing him in a long flowing white gown, pointy ears, and curly blonde hair put me in stitches!

I got the animated Leo gif.. umm.. i don't remeber...

and Splinter action figs? oohh that's a toughie, this is what *I* know about:

+ Orig Splinter (w/ soft and hard head)
+ Creepy Crawling Splinter
+ Mutating Splinter (turned into hamato yoshi)
+ Movie Star Splinter (w/ flocked and unflocked nose)
+ Auto-mutations Splinter (turns into TurtleVan)
+ Movie 3 Splinter
+ Shogun Splinter
+ SuperMutant Splinter
+ NT:TNM Splinter

That's all I know of right now....

Fortunately, it takes alot to gross me out... even though I may not approve of it.

And to answer your question: It was prolly some marketing agent in Playmates who thought of the idea. I doubt Eastman and Laird would even think of that.

The ones where he transformed into Hammato Yoshi and the Turtles into a normal turtle made a lil more sense.
