I watched "Things Change" yesterday, but it was my personally-encoded DVD-rip. When I can get the external BluRay drive hooked up, I'm gonna see how it stacks up against the actual DVD.

The people who are sticking to it (me & Vivi for sure) are going at 5 eps per week in chronological order, with this being the first week.

Returning to the 'drome after a long absence and I've been lurking, catching up on all the Nick news and I can't believe I missed the Turtles Forever film until I came back here. Only to find there was an uncut DVD released for my country

needless to say, I got right on amazon

So I'm definitly up for a group re-watch

What better way to celebrate the summer than relaxing with some turtley goodness?

Just watched eps 1-9 (my custom DVD set's Disc 1). Boy, Don's voice sure was extra effeminate in the beginning. Didn't notice Dragonface being shown until Meet Case, but maybe he was a silent character in a previous ep and I just didn't notice.. BTW, Casey's extra long hair in the first season always kinda bugged me. You guys remember the jazzy trumpet piece that was a menu audio for the earlier DVD releases? I finally recognized that as the montage of the turtles asking people about the disappearances in Garbageman. So, how about "Turtle On The Street" for a track title? Better suggestions are welcome.

Would I be leaving everyone way behind by watching up to ep 15 now? If my calculations are correct, and they generally are, we're in week three of this 'book' club.

U left me behind, but that is my fault bc of my slacking.

Any way I take it everybody watched the first Ep at least, truth be told I was dreading the ep bc I thought oh how boring it would be bc oh its only going to talk about the origin... But I forgot how enjoyable the episode is.
My favorit part of the ep is when they fight the foot, really awesome fight scene.

Also I loved Mikey's joke and how the others would crack him in the back of the head to set him straight

Any thoughts?? for ep 1

Just finished ep 11 and remembered a curiosity I once had. Saki introduces himself to Leo as an "8th generation master of ninjitsu". Anybody got any idea what that means?

Yeah. I remember someone pointing out that it seemed a little hypocritical that Leo says "this isn't 'finders keepers', Mikey" about the money when they ended up keeping the truck. Well, the Dragons appeared to have the truck from a previous heist. They drove it to the alleyway The Turtles just happened to be in BEFORE robbing a business.
