Wait a minute splinters gonna be 6ft tall? When the heck did that happen. I don't think I like that at all. What are the turtles 8 ft tall now to.

Honestly it makes no sense. The turtles have never had a third toe since conception, over 25 years ago. It'd be like giving Batman an extra finger. Is there a reason for it? Does it even look good? No, it doesn't.

But Batman's a human. Humans have ten fingers and ten toes.

These are mutant turtles we're talking about. Things that don't exist. There's no rule that they have to have two toes.

It actually makes more sense that they have three toes. They have three fingers after all, don't they?

It may not be my preference, but the three toes look fine on these designs. Any other designs... Not so much.

My point was they never had them before why have them now? Why change something that's been standard accepted design for over 25 years? Would it be okay to give the Predator an extra head just because he's an alien? How about we give Mondo Gecko 2 tails. Extreme cases I know but it seriously looks just as horrid. Yeah they're just feet but it's enough to put up with the awful CG look without pointless design decisions. There is no practical reason for them to have 3 toes. Makes them look more like frogs in my opinion which they need to stop doing.

If that's all you can manage to take away from what I said then sure let's go with that. In the 3 live action films where they were realized without use of CG the 2 giant toes are what they had, essentially in the real world.

I'm floored the idea of basic design is above people's heads.

It's such a tiny thing I barely even notice. I seriously thought they didn't have toes at all for a long time.

I'd rather have 3 toes than claws looking feet. I actually don't give a ****. The character design works with 3 toes.

Smartest thing said in this thread. While I'm not crazy about three toes, it really makes more sense. but at the end of the day my sentiments resemble EvilStarLegacy's.

Frankly, I don't mind this. Like I said, I'm just not sure how they're going to wear Japanese sandals in future episodes.

I apologize, Jester. It's just when I hear this, I have this feeling that no one is feeling for this new toon. I guess I got a little worried that the amount of haters were going to increase. Maybe I do want this thread to die down. Maybe I just think this is getting ridiculous. But whatever misconvenience I brought on you, I'm very sorry.

As for the three toes: I don't mind them at all. I'm just happy that the TMNT are coming back so quickly. What do you think?

Not really something I'm gonna get bent out of shape about. 3 toes doesn't bother me. But if they mess with the characters or the show is just plain not good, that's what concerns me. Minor design decisions don't really bother me, I clan look past it. Character and writing decisions do.

I doubt they'll mess with the characters that much.

I like the idea of Leo being a sci-fi geek. It's the Don having a crush on April I'm not sure about.

I think this show will probably be more successful than 2k3. It's on a huge cable network.

And, IMO, looks better than 2k3. I'm extremely excited for this show.
